PTS Week 2 1.4 Updates

I have feeling that Survival either won't be as big as UG or it will be on the same level.  If I didn't have a season pass, though, I probably wouldn't give it a look because of how late it will be.

Again, I'm a filthy casual, so I don't play as much and get burned out as quickly.  The ability to get more loot from different activities interests me, but I'm not sure how much.  I was looking this weekend about what to save up for possible 1.4 builds and I'm not really super geeked about anything.

I think with this extra delay Massive are building a huge expectation for Survivor DLC to be even larger in scope than Underground. Remembering that there's still ANOTHER patch DLC due out before the season passes expire. Its a tight schedule!!
I think that's the point. Credit to them for their humility and commitment to fixing a broken game, but whichever it goes I don't see how they can win: if it's underwhelming people will walk away; if it succeeds people will still criticise and ask why they couldn't get it right first time.

I think its a matter of saving EVERYTHING and just waiting to see....

I'm what I'd call a Manic Casual ... I tend to get SUPER excited about and play a game to DEATH over a period of a couple of months and then immediately lose all interest and move to another game but I then come back at a more casual level as I add the game to my "rotation".

I meant that looking at the gear I have and what gear will be like after 1.4, nothing is screaming my name for a new build.
That's what I found with 1.3 & UG: my initial excitement was quickly replaced with a feeling of overwhelming mediocrity. The sets I've tried just don't seem to compliment each other.

Right now my main is running 2x FM and 4x AB, so with 1.4 I'll lose 25% EDR and 2 med kits and I'll gain +5% weapon damage.  Considering this toon has the +100% health regen and almost 500k toughness, the EDR and med kits won't be too bad of a loss and hopefully the weapon damage increase will be enough of an offset.

The biggest change will be with my alt who's running 3x LS and 3x TA.  She'll get a boost to damage with her weapons as the bonus will go from +1k DMG to +8% DMG and she'll get a boost to skill points that will be greater than the 4k bonus she's currently getting.

My alt toon is the one that I'm thinking about doing the most work on.  My main has a set function that works to my play style and I'm not thinking that I'll need to change.  For my alt I'll probably be looking at going some combo of 3 each of FM & FC, 3 each of PM & TA, 3 each of HF and TA, or 3 each of FM & TA.  I'll probably keep the LS for when I'm running UG, as it's tons of fun to run the all shottys in confined space and the LS helps with waste not.  Otherwise, I'm looking to make this toon a little more viable in other areas and I'm just getting a little bored with it.

Then again, with the changes to the NPCs and the use of world tiers, I might find both of my toons are just fine after 1.4 drops.
