Take a look at the ACR assault rifle, this has been my mainstay. I recently tried the M4 but went back to the ACR. I have it with ext mag(50), grenade launcher, trigger is full/semi in which I have used it like a sniper at around 300 m with no problem.  It is one of the highest damage guns in the assault rifle class.  Just some food for thought.

Last night I found out you can add a silencer to the GR:FS ACR and I started using that....oddly it feels better than the in-game ACR...

I'm a fan of the M4A1 and the G36.  There's another AR that I've been using too, but I don't remember off the top of my head what it is.  

Played more tonight and the AR I'm running is the ACR.  I also picked up the SR25 sniper and I've become a fan of it when I'm not hunting vehicles with the HTI.  I've got a shortened barrel on the SR25, so it's basically a harder hitting and longer range semi-auto AR.  Works quite well with the ACR.

Since the stats is shared, being into a screwed up fights when playing with my friend have finally cut my ratings and kicked me back from 'Overwatch' to 'Grunt'.

It would be nice if playstyle was toon-specific, so you could have your solo play toon and your MP toon, if you wanted.

It seems they don't want you to 'lie'.

Someone create a troll character, boost it with nice ratings like a pro Ghost, then set out to random people to screw shit up that is neither tactical nor silent, not even close to being a dependable fighter.
