Nomad Gear Talent??? Useless???

I finally got my 4th green Nomad Gear, because I thought the talent was beast..  Is it just me or does this talent even work?   I've never been revived to full health when about to die.   Are they gonna fix this or is there something I'm missing...  Thanks

 
It seems like the other talents are overpowered when compared to the Nomad.  You can't even tell if the talent is active or even guess when it's gonna work within that imaginary 10 minute frame..

 
Nomad 4 piece talent is bugged to hell. The set as a whole stinks, and will likely continue to be the worst set until Juggernaut drops, if they don't change the bonuses on that.

 
Yeah man, the only reason I was going for the Nomad was for that 4th talent.  Now I want to switch to Sentry gear, which is op in addition to Stryker.  So much for gear balancing.  At least, now I know why i'm dying so quickly in the dark zone.  Just gonna stash the Nomad gear, because I already invested alot of my supplies (almost all).  Hopefully they fix that Nomad talent as soon as possible...

thanks for the link.  I was reading that thread earlier.  I was wondering why I got one shoted by a A.I. sniper in the dark zone when I was clearly well above full health.  I thought I was just lagging or it was some kind of 'exotic damage'.  Alot of my gear also has that 'protection from elite' attribute, as I was initially trying to do a tank build.  Just my luck that the gear stats I was going for was going to be the most bugged of them all.  I think they just want us to focus on DPS.  That's why the made the drops in the first incursion on hard mode only drop Sentry and Stryker gear, and rarely Tactician.  

 
Plus, my health was around 79,000 and my armor dmg mitigation was at 64.6%.  Gear score 202.  It's hard to trust any of the in game calculation, even dps is misleading.

I had my 4th piece of the nomad set drop from a supply drop last night and when I got back to the base and equipped all 4 pieces, there was a little symbol below my HUD that look like the symbol from the nomad set and it took 10 minutes to fill the bar. I will have to go test this last and see if it brings me back to life.

Haven't tried nomad myself but I have to say I'm not impressed with its bonus, sentry's and strikers are far more viable.

It's kind of disappointing as the Nomad is supposed to be for players in the DZ and that is where you can come up against some of the strongest enemies in the game either PVE or PVP. With that in mind I feel like the Nomad gear should be one of the strongest gear sets available with the talents that it provides but instead it is one that they mine as well just take out of the game as no one is using it because the boosts are just not worth it.

 
It's kind of disappointing as the Nomad is supposed to be for players in the DZ and that is where you can come up against some of the strongest enemies in the game either PVE or PVP. With that in mind I feel like the Nomad gear should be one of the strongest gear sets available with the talents that it provides but instead it is one that they mine as well just take out of the game as no one is using it because the boosts are just not worth it.
While it's found IN the darkzone, Nomad was meant to be a solo player set, not a pvp set. I'm sure "solo player wandering around the DZ" was the full intent though.

That is why I feel like it should have had some of the strongest most appealing boosts and talents available as it being aimed at Solo players. Those playing solo whether it is PVE in the DZ or getting ambushed by a pack of Rogue's need the most help to try and balance the playing field. Just my opinion is all.

I agree, but they went with "we should probably help them farm division tech nodes before they complain again" instead :2_grimacing:

If it had bonues on it that would enable a single agent to take on multiple rogues it would be way OP and even more OP when used in a group instead of going solo.

You should not be able if roughly even geared to take on multiple rogue's. That is why you should group when going into the DZ. Sure you can survive in the DZ without getting killed by Rogue's as some YT vids show us. But you have to be extra careful and try to be stealthy whenever you can.

The only time I find myself usually getting killed is when you're shot  in the back back some gutless kid who doesn't have enough game skill to shoot someone while they are looking.

Bring back the chest piece gear talent Vigorous... all your healing skills have over heal enabled, but maybe as the 3 piece bonus on Nomad. Swap the 20% health on kill to the two piece. Leave the 4 piece alone, but make it actually function as intended. NOW it's a solo set, and a possible tank set.

I tried it and couldn't get it to work after letting it charge up all the way. No big loss for me as I have 3x214 and 1x240 sentry's call gear and that talent is amazing. All of my best guns have brutal on them which just pairs perfectly with it and its even a great talent for support. I use my HE LVOA-C that's a freakin laser to put a 3 round burst to their head in incursions and watch our DPS guy crit them for 2.5million dmg. My favorite build would be 4 sentry and 2 tactician but I haven't found a holster to replace my nomad one I rolled.

I have plenty of game skill, but I would still gladly shoot you in the back, take your loot, and steal your woman.

They still have Vigorous. Just rolled it on a chest piece yesterday.
