Sorry for what may be a reality simple and idiotic question but I need some help with doing something tat I have to believe is doable but I have not clue how to do it.  So I'm one of dopes that always "helps" out the street walker's in need of help and I get this "reward" of the XP but also I see there is a value on what I typical get. Now I'd "OLD" by gamer standards, so it takes me awhile to "level up".  This cheesy clothing that I get, like a "puffy" down jacket, or trendy shoes etc.   So my question is this, one how do I see the "gifts" that I'm given and can I sell it?  I don't see why it would have a monetary value if I can't sell it, but not only can I typically not find it, I am able to see a weapon or a weapon mod, but I would think that I should be able to access the "puffy down jacket" or "goofy cap" or whatever the :gift is, beside the XP I get. I want to see it so I can get some open slots back  or so I can buy something I really need or want.

Is it possible to see this stuff, if it is how the heck do I do it, I've tried the "guy in the back off base camp, in the post office" but I have ZERO clue hoe to sell some or all of my " kindness gift"  I have to believe that I can do this but I also don't , literally, have any idea how to.

So can I sell these things ?  IF I can how the heck do I do it, or even see it anywhere ?Ok so I'm a little slow but I just celebrated (depending on how you look at it) my 60th birthday so the old and-eye coordination isn't exact lightning fast anymore and while my great great friends in the clan I've played with since the very first GhosT Recon on xbox 360 allow me to play and have become absolutely wonderful friends and "tolerate" my horrible play because I served for a long time in a "special" unit in the Navy, so in the Ghost Recon games and the Division gave where it's a LOT more that the ol' run & gun style but needs some tactical advice. So I'm the guys who draws up al the maps and the best offensive spots and defensive spots, with pictures and fire lanes. So aside for my good humor the tactical and strategic stuff I can offer and be tolerated. and my "grandfather status" they allow me to play whenever I'm on. They've become, over all the years great friends , true friends , even thought I've only met, in person a very few of my online buds, they are still "my buddies and team-mates" and brothers, regardless of the rapid acquisition of great weapons and HUGE strategic value I bring to the game, (for those that didn't recognize it that was a joke, not the friends part but the "lightening quick" reflexes and kill streaks.

Ok so now the small novelette is over how can I sell these  kindness "gifts" that I'm loaded down with I think ?  Or am I just plain crazy and it can't be done but the nagging question around the value associated with these points, to me at least that , suggests that you can.  Keep in mind that even after a few days I just broke level 20 tonight in the "Amherst House" mission by myself.  (I also noticed that after the chopper landed and took the Virus ones but not me, thank you so much for that,  when I finally cleared the roof tops etc when I completed the final objective I got shown a screen where I "supposedly" had acquired a pink level navy P5 N weapon, nowhere to be found even after hitting "A" and getting the message "I got it" mysteriously disappeared when I went to get them.  Sorry to rant and rave like a lunatic but I just want to know how to turn my kindness gifts into money.

Please, please, can someone help me, and either tell me it's all for naught or help me with adequate  play by play  instructions for doing so, what I desperately believe I can do and just need some stupid idiotic help in doing do?  for a semi dolt to understand  how  to access the kindness rewards and get some room and some cash t help me access so many fine rewards that I can't use for purchasing, I have to believe that it's there .  As long as I'm on a roll here can I ask one more for  3        `         total size 29.3MB Insert other media
On Notify me of repliemore question. I have a laundry list of question that I just "don't get them or understand how to use them"  Any real actual real and valuable play by play" would be on step in a have huge FAQ for dummies.

I truly do sincerely thank you for any helpful  anyone cal provide, fegardithat man need a feakh rlee

There are two types of "gifts"

Equipment and Clothing

Clothing is simple, does NOT take up any space in your inventory and you view it via your Appearance menu by equipping it to your character etc. Currently there is no monetary value to them, they cannot be sold and can only be transferred via your Stash to another of your own characters.

This could change in the future and they might be worth "something" but currently its only cosmetic. You get XP when you help civilians but you very very rarely get anything of serious use from them.

Equipment - Weapons, Water, Energy bars etc. These take up space either in your pouches (with your consumables like grenades when its Water or energy bars etc) and you can use them accordingly in combat. Weapons and sometimes items of equipment like kneepads etc all have a monetary value, take up inventory space in your back pack (main inventory) and can also be broken down into materials for crafting.

Essentially unless you are REALLY forced to, never make use of Grey (worn out) objects but split them into materials or sell for credits. Previously breaking for materials was the preferred route but since the update, selling might be better.

Not sure about the missing purple weapon. If your inventory was full it would just stay on the floor until picked up or you've left the mission.

Oh.

To split something into Materials. Open inventory, mark the item as Junk then Deconstruct. BE VERY CAREFUL YOU ARE NOT HIGHLIGHTING ANYTHING YOU DON'T WANT TO DESTROY AT THIS POINT OR HAVE ACCIDENTALLY MARKED SOMETHING YOU WANT TO KEEP AS JUNK (cannot stress this enough, there is no returns!!)

You use materials at the Craft Bench in you main base to build more useful objects, weapons, equipment from blueprints you will collect from missions.

You can craft materials UP in quality from Grey > Yellow > Blue > Purple but the current "exchange rate" is a ratio of 15:1 (15 Grey parts = 1 Yellow).

Quinch1199,

Another Aries, (4/4/56) for me.

Thank you , Thank you.   Great answers, I really appreciate them all.  I've finally figured out the "Performance Gear Mod" rewards too, at least for things like a vest, or knee pads etc.  I have NOT however figured out how to use the" performance firearm mod"         (or whatever the equivalent name for "ordinance/weapon gear  upgrade,  on weapon or a scope of anything that takes up a slot on the weapon. So if  you're feeling generous any hints there would be welcome.   :-)

It's weird though the "kindness awards" like a scarf, I don't recall seeing them mixed in with my "appearance" section of clothes, boots etc. I'll have to look.  I appreciate the answer though, I just assumed that since some of the jackets and such had $250-$300+ values on them so that's why I thought they could be sold somehow.  I've got the "crafting" pretty well figured out, thanks for the tip about the "grey" or word materials.

The mission that when I beat is was the "Amherst's Apartment" and I finally was able to outsmart that mother with the 3 takes on him, only to find on the roof top, the freaking chopper takes the Virus data and leaves me hanging.  So when I finally did "clear all the enemies" this big banner of3 columns x 3 rows came up and showed me all  the stuff I had supposedly won, the upper right was a pink Navy P5 N sub (which I like but the Vector is pretty sweet too) and to get the screen to go away and commotion it said Press "A" and next to "A it said "I GOT IT", did that and assumed that meant  that  I should have had all that in ,my inventory, no such luck.  Is it possible that because I'm still only just level 18 that it wouldn't even get the gun?   I didn't think that made any sense , I have several gun slot parts that are level 19-22 and they are there I just can't use them.

Something is bugging me about the weapons, tools and electronics, I scour the map with "Ping" and the extra "add-on" (wrong word I know) on the radar-like ping skill or "perk" it shows all the ammo, parts/supply crates  etc on the map.  So tonight I went around and picked up  8 "weapon parts" and 4  "tools" rewards, when I got to basecamp, at the crafting table they were available to use.

The first thing I noticed is that they aren't showing up on my backpack as going into inventory, and then I find that after specifically collecting the "mods" what I should have, to use in crafting,  I get NADA, NOTHING, That seems to be really flakey for me, then I thought, I wonder if I get killed do I loose them, which appears to be the case, but like tonight, I specifically gathered and counted all the tools, weapons parts etc, and went right back to the post office basecamp, and I went to see if I could craft a better handle or ammo mag and none of the weapon parts or tools parts  were available????  I did engage in a gun fight, didn't die but had to suck down two med kits to get my resistance back up, but still no tools,or other parts to craft with. (BTW thanks for the tip on the dismantling or disassembly of things , I've ben doing a lot of that with the lower ranked times I sash in my "stash box".

I sincerely appreciate that you took the time to reply, it was really helpful, if I may, ranking  up is taking forever, most of my buddies play and other hours, since the vast majority are in the UK and I'm in Arizona so I'm doing all the missions by myself, except for two I did early on with e other guys from our "clan" and they were all raked at 30 (No Dark Zone yet) and since I was stupid enough to be the "party" leader all my remaining missions we one wickedly high ranking, So it would take me about 75 bullets from my level 18  Socom M? marksman rifle, using the "One is none" perk and it  takes me hours to kill anyone with a ranking of 18.

I'm finding out that unlike COD or the earlier Ghost Recon's where I couldn't "quick scope" to save my life, so I NEVER used a marksman, now in Division, it's definitely my go to, since I'm solo.

If you don't mind my asking, I'm a marksman and Assault rifle person, I recent got a "standard " SA 80D (or whatever the designations is, a light M4 and a Police 416 G?.  and the ACE ???, (All level 18 )The SA 80 , on specs, blows away the other two rifles but Wow, talk about "unsteady" and "climb" it's REALLY hard, at least for me, to use the rifle, when I can control it it's seems to be fairly deadly,  I keep hearing about the two, bizarrely named assault rifles, but in your experience, how and at what level to you started to see these kick-a$$ assault rifles? Do I have to go into the dark zone to get them, or can I can standard or special ones in the regular game/incursion etc.

It's obvious, IMO, that the game is tarting to look like it's a squad based game, which I have mixed feeling about, mostly due to the absence of having my Clan buddies around at times when I can play. That and at 60 years old, my reflexes, vision just plain ol' suck. The only real weapon  I  have left is too many years in the Navy based out of Coronado as an 113X designated SW officer. So the up-close hooded attackers , for me, is truly a fish out of water experience. That is probably about as much as I should "share" on that.

Sorry for the "novel" sized reply but I have so many questions and no idea where to find the answers, except for posting g"dumb" questions in the forums  and hoping I get a good answer, so as I said before thank you for the replies , very helpful. I wish I could say it was early onset dementia or early onset Alzheimers , or even all the chemo from my Leukemia, instead I'm stuck with my kids and now grandkids just chalk it up to "a senior moment", aren't kids wonderful ?

Thanks again for the reply, if you ever run across "Virus" (Wayne) he's a very very good friend also one of the UK buddies I've know =n through gaming since Ghost Recon "Thunder Island" days.

Cheers, Peter

Mods – I’ll admit I’m only just finding my own feet on this one but … the game is aimed at you tailoring your character to various roles in a group (imagine a fantasy MMO like World of Warcraft where you have a Wizard, Cleric, Warrior etc). Only certain items have Mod slots and its up to you to choose the mods that give the enhancements you want for the role you want to perform. If you choose a DPS role you’re likely to have more damage output, more health (so mods for ammunition capacity & stamina) other roles need Electronics and Stamina or a mix of the main three at various levels.

Appearance – yeah, scarves are there. I think in the right hand column under Jackets & Boots (or is it called footwear?). Tip, you can “Unequip” a jacket. I prefer that look myself as It shows off your bullet proof vest nicely. As I said, trading and values for these things MAY be coming to the game in future patches.

MP5-N – Sounds like a bug to me on that one. When it said you “got it” it would normally just appear in your weapon inventory slots … sorry I can’t help more.

Map “nodes/items” – Firstly lots are a PAIN IN THE ASS to find, even if you have them ping on the map…seriously…they frigging HIDE! If you die outside the DarkZone (DZ) you won’t loose anything other than time….or if you choose a respawn a long way off from where you died enemies may respawn. Dying in the DZ you drop random number and types of gear you’ve found within the DZ (I could be wrong but I think this just applies to contaminated items you have in your hazmat bag).

Crafting materials – Only way you can see materials themselves if in the crafting menu from the crafting station at your Base of Operations. Selecting a blueprint shows materials required and that you have available at the bottom of the screen “Weapon Parts 10/15  Tools 4/4”. You can’t see just materials in your normal inventory screen. Only built or…constructed items.

Weapons – Remember to add items to your weapons. Enter inventory, select the weapon and press the key to modify it. Screen will open and you’ll have a choice of 3-6 mod slots: Paint (oooo..pretty colours), Scope, Magazine, Underbarrel, flash-hinder. Paint needs not explanation so….

Scope – Options on scopes can add % bonus’ to help with: Critical damage, Headshot damage (sniper/DMR ideally), Effective range (damage drops off over distance on guns) and some others I can’t remember.

Magazine – Options to craft/fined magazine mods to make them larger capacity, faster rate of fire, faster reloads etc

Underbarrel – mainly grips and lasers that help with Stability in various ways (initial bullet stability for sniper builds, over all stability etc).

Flash-hinder – Options with helping Stability again or threat reduction or increasing threat. “Threat” means how likely enemies in a fire fight where there is more than you (i.e. group) are to notice and target YOU. Generally most players select threat reduction when playing alone (takes longer for enemy to spot you once the fight starts) so choose a silencer. I choose compensators that ADD threat level for when I play in a squad because I play a support gunner with healing station and I want the enemy to focus on me (I regen my health via the healing station as I take damage) as the others in my unit like snipers etc can deal a lot more damage than I do.

So in your example, look into underbarrel and flash-hinder/silencer/compensators to add that add bonus’ to stability in various ways. You can take a really unstable gun and add mods to reduce horizontal climb and general stability by a really significant amount. Also a lot of it is learning the gun and how it handles.

Generally best guns (except those from the DZ) are Blue and Purple but sometimes, with mods, a Blue of equal level can be far better than a Purple with the same mods etc. Its about experimenting, crafting, recalibrating mods you craft etc. Once you get an advanced armoury in your Base you can buy Purple weapons and mods from him…though expensive!

I’m a more senior player as well, though on PC, at 46 and if you look in the General section of the forums there’s a thread dedicated to us…you are NOT the oldest player! So take heart Sir! Personally I can’t see how console gamers aim without a mouse but you can get mouse and keyboard for the consoles so perhaps that’s a good option for you?

This game really is about squad gameplay, certainly when you want to enter the DZ (level 1 will be ok but…) I’m in a gaming clan who really don’t support this game anyway but you can always pick up random people to group up with and that’s a great idea for players like us. Either use the laptop in safehouses or just use the fast match maker at the start of main missions.

Good luck Peter!

Gun types/names can be a little confusing but basically the only difference with primary/secondary slot is what key you press to bring it up. I run with a LMG (Light Machine Gun)  and Submachinegun. I’ve just swapped from the L86 LSW (the old British LMG) back to a newly acquired purple AK74 RPK, the AK’s are terrible on stability “out of the box” but I added a couple of mods and it sits on target nicely.

Main confusion you might find is when you get things like the HK 417 or 416 or the SCAR-L or SCAR-H as the 417 and H are DMR’s (Designated Marksman Rifle’s) and are semi-auto only but the 416 & L are normal assault rifles with automatic fire rates. So far the game has a decent mix of current and older service weapons which makes me happy.

Quincy,

I can't tell you how much i appreciate the replies, I know that's a lot to address and type. I get a sense that  you, although a strapping young "buck" probably approach the game in very similar ways. I have come to cherish the under-barrel vertical grips, small red grip and the compensator to tame the climb of most weapons, especially the vast majority of the "so called" assault rifles, which while looking good on paper stats, seem to not perform as well, at least not yet, to me, as well as some of the SMG's, the Vector , except for the slow load and 20 round clip is a nice gun, I'm getting partial to the Specialized Navy P5 N, seems to work very well for me.  (The only assault rifle that does not climb and I doubt it;s because , in real life, I practically slept with my M4 (or in y early days the venerable M-16 and that 5.67mm round that just does not have the in flight stability that I'd like. In games the M4 if a great rifle, in real life fire through a few twigs and your round  could deflect several inches over 30yards or even less. Of course being the US we would never stoop to the NATO 7.62 round that has some serious stopping power. (the Scar H is a good case, it SHOULD be a beast but not in game I, gave up early on that one. Half of the quality  of the M1A, P44 or my favorite Socom marksman, so far for a marks rifle that , for me, is the best combination of a quick load 10 round mag, great stopping power, especially a headshot.

It's interesting , you comment on "running with the LMGs" I'm just discovering them, the only hitch, for me, is the clip size go the RPK-74 , while a nice LMG the 30 rounds goto out pretty quickly, I tend to use very short bursts, to save ammo and reduce the wild climb.

I still finally at level 19 (only a week later :-)  )  find a level 17 SOCOM Marksman rifle , for me, appears staggering deadly, combining that with the  "one and None" or "One and  Done" perk that actually loads round not just into your magazine but in the chamber for every headshot. I was NEVER a marksman (gaming at least) rifle, because the upscale and on target time , I was dead halfway through. However in Division, the SOCOM is just magic for me, the Socom , the 15x scope and the true silencer, and I'm often able to engage and wipe out 3 of 5 before the chase is on and I have to fall back, either reload or at least reposition. Get the turret out, or a frag tor too.  My Achilles heal in that scenario id in semi close quarters like Amhert's Apartment or the Mall where that freaking "boss", is almost I'm[possible for me to put down, The SMG  just doesn't have the knock-out , for me, that I need. The Socom and is to stay on headshot while being issued on with massive flames until I'm doing a good bacon imitation.  I suspect that that is where I should start looking into the LMG's once I learn to take the climb and sway,

I'm going to have to try and get a good $$ LMG and maybe carry the Socom has a 3rd rifle, and when I get a breather I add the grip, scope, quick load mag or hi velocity mag, and either S-7 silencer of compensator.  The idea of carrying 3 guns I stumbled on when after a fire fight, is ended up with an AI's SMG 09 (or SMG 9 ???) and I ran out of Socom ammo, the assault rifle just was not controllable, except the M4 and that just doesn't stop a lot of  >14  ranked AI's. Si all I could do was grab a bare SMG-9 and whoa, hey wait a minutes this thing is taking them out like they were paper, of course that was up close where I don't really want to be, but it started me looking at more SMG's   (Now the good P% N and the Vector with a 45 cal are looking good) those l=seem to be pretty equal on paper, the P5 handles great but the Vector is pretty good up reasonably close.

Geez, sorry for the Novel, I wanted to thank you for the tips, all excellent and has adopted almost all of them.  Ok so one last questions, what is the fastest way to get $$$, selling things ore ok, but it's most times . Like $.05 on the dollar. Seems like most missions don't award you with cash but mostly with EXP. I'm having a really hard time gathering up cash to get to $10,000 to buy a good specialized or even "purple" gun. It seems to take FOREVER.

Thanks again for you replies, I sincerely appreciate the dialogue and the excellent answers.  Thanks again Quinch, really appreciate the replies, I can tell, you 're a good man sir, very kind of you to take out some time for us turtles. It's too bad that PC, PS$ and XBOX can't play on  the same server, that would be a sight to behold, I saw a 20 min video of a round the same round on all 3 platforms, all side by side and I was stunned at the consistency, I could not tell them apart most of the time.

You’ll find, like I have, that some of the weapon names and designations are a little … “off” … most are due to Ubisoft not obtaining trademarks (for example H&K’s like the 416’s aren’t named correctly a lot of the time) and a weapon that was essentially used as a DMR (L86A2) is down as an LMG which was its initially intended function. I find it quite humorous to be honest but I think I confuse players I play alongside when I refer to weapons with correct trades (KRISS Vector for example).

Ammunition capacity in something like the RPK is mitigated by Crafting higher capacity magazines…I just stopped using mine but I had a magazine with a +45% (or similar) ammunition capacity and it ended with a 62 round magazine!! So crafting can address some of the more obvious short falls like that. I haven’t really studied if the damage output is more affected by real life round use (5.56 vs. 7.62 vs. 5.45 vs. ACP.45 vs. 9mm) or is just a game mechanic based on weapon level.

Three round bursts with any weapon are a good way to engage at distance (just as I was trained to do), often its difficult with assault rifles though as the rate of fire can be very high….something like a RoF of > 800 and the climb even on fast taps is bad as you’re throwing 5-8 rounds down range still.

Just crafted at level 29 a nice “416” (actually an ACR Masada) which has great RoF (not too fast, not too slow) meaning I can let single rounds out if I wish. So crafting solves lots of issues….IF you have the materials and IF you have the blueprints.

If you can keep enemies at distance then DMR or Sniper rifles are perfect and you’ll be a great addition to any team to counter sniper or take down turrets etc. Just make sure you have something with major punch for close n dirty! That 2nd slot is specifically for a back up and you’ll REALLY need it for some of the enemies as they WILL get right in your face and do massive damage.

You can’t carry three rifles in the hot swap slots. Two rifles or rifle/shotgun plus a pistol. If you’re going DMR/Sniper as main (good choice still) you can have an LMG as a secondary but it’ll be wasted as its a long to medium range weapon, unless you start using a bolt action sniper rifle at some point. You’ll have to decide your engagement ranges. Sniper is long range really only, DMR can cover both long and medium ranges but an SMG or shotgun (automatic one will be good!). However, as you have found carrying different classes does allow you to use most ammunition of your total capacity...however....I haven't really thought if that comes out of your full capacity or not...hmmm...I'll have to look.

The SMG-9 is actually a TEC-9 (likely as its a banned weapon in the US!!) and is SURPRISINGLY good with mods. Just crafted one for my secondary…I just don’t have a blueprint or found a drop for an LMG that’s good enough for my level *sadface*…I’ve modded with mag (almost doubling capacity), grip, flashhinder and its very stable (still inaccurate at range) and fantastic for close work and has a very fast reload! However, if you go DMR like you have ,the MP5’s etc might be a good choice as range is still good on them as well so you can start engaging earlier.

On the negative the TEC-9 looks like a frigging TOY! So I'll be dropping as soon as I can get a good replacement LOL.

Tip – unless you REALLY have to…don’t spend money buying weapons etc. You’ll need it to recalibrate crafted mods and weapons (pay for a reroll at the recalibration bench in Tech room). I didn’t spend any on weapons until I was at least level 23 but don’t worry too much as it builds up surprisingly fast if you make sure you clear all the areas of EVERYTHING… get the dog handler upgrade to the Security wing when you can as once you’ve done all the side missions it reveals the other goodies for you to collect. Mainly doing missions is about XP and the weapon or blueprints you get from them.

Thank you for the kind comments, us old soldiers stick together. …even if you’re on a console *wink* (PC Master Race!)

I only manage about 4 or 6 hours a week gaming myself so I really understand about slow progress.

Quinch,

Hey I started all my gaming on the PC I used to build, I'd buy the MoBo, a chassis, find Nidia's best video card du jour. I hear ya.  Since then I've gone Apple, and while my dual quad-core i7' machine is a rocketship, VMware is souped up for gaming, it cupel easily handle Dic=vision, I was thinking of making  at slimmed down "gaming" image for VMware  and giving it a try.    It's just that the console is easy.  Funny, your comment about how do people deal without a mouse, I say the same thing, how could someone play this game4 with a keyboard and a mouse? LOL , Whatever works Brother !

I spent hours last night trying to craft or find a Scope for the AUG , that thing , for me, is a great weapon, decent enough close up, and a decent range for an SMG, I really want a good P5 N "specialized" or higher, I just can;'t seem to get away from the SOCOM M , so yeah, in a force of <6 I can have 4 down in one mag,n with the "One is None" perk  I've managed 4 long range (MNS 5 14x scope) "boss" kills with 10 rounds still in the chamber and only one required more than 1 shot.  But I've also gotten stupid and forgot my training, next thing I know , I'm on my knees swinging the Aug around and pushing every wrong button possible, next thing is "where do I want to respawn?

I prefer the longer range engagement, I think that's literally sort of like muscle memory, from past lives, I LOVE the idea of an LMG as a Primary & Secondary  (Yeah, I know the 3 gun thing is a bit of a kludge, but I carry one in my "backpack/inventory, with a scope and either muzzle tamer or handgrip, just in case)

I'm really struggling with the crafting and that seems to be THE ONLY way to get a scope, especially is it's for an SMG, I almost sen $11,000 on a souped up SMG-9 (which , yes is a only slightly modified TEC 9, it's (in real life, made by Fabrique Nationale the french maker responsible for the missing 50 round side facing magazine, venerable P90, that is a surprise because it's in all the other UBI and TREYARCH games) It's also made of a lot of high impact plastic and carbs\on, but it just is too "gangsta" looking for me, until i found one of a boss and threw it in inventory, I screwed up and didn't restock, and then realized,  if I could get some where safe for 2 minutes I'll a grip, mag and barrel off another and use this, WOW, that  got rid of my hangup, tango's within 30-40 ft, were dropping like flies.

I agree on the $ on weapons, I'm almost level 20, and I figure then I should probably replace my SOCOM M (level 12). I did just switch out my M4 (level 13-14???)n for a new level 18 Aug I'm hoping that lasts for a while. I've given up on Assault Rifles, used to be all I used  but they just aren't for me, yet ,in this game.

Thanks once again for the tips. Especially the talents ,perks and ???  I',m lost on those, I get the  LB&RB  (Ping &  Turret) for me. but skills & talents  DUH!!!

Cheers,

Peter

Tip – If you have the same type of weapon in your bag (and if you have them equipped on hot buttons) they share the same ammunition supply. So if your LMG ammunition says “400” but you have two LMG’s then you share ammunition from that same pot. Best way to spread ammunition supply is to have as wide a variety of weapon types. Hot button your favourite combination and keep the rest for emergencies (and you WILL get them!).

Two things I’ve struggled collecting or even getting decent blueprints for are Scopes and under-barrel attachments. Guess they’re just more irregular drops.

You need to maintain your arms race and concentrate on damage output. You will start feeling some real pain once you get to Murray Hill!! Trust me, I won’t spoiler anything but you should be hunting down higher level and more powerful drops. I’d suggest a character damage output of no less than 40,000 before you get into that area…unless you’re already there and I’m just rubbish at this game LOL!

I’m hoping more types of weapons are introduced…patch due in the next month I think…and weapons like the P.90 or ACR Masada etc would be fun. I’d also like to see a few more vintage weapons like a sniper version of the old M1 Garand.

The skills, talents, and equipment mods will mean a LOT more once you get to level 30 so just use what works best to keep you alive solo until then.

Good luck and glad to help!
