Money....something has to change

I know that at a certain point the money has become useless, with the exception of  Phoenix Credits. My idea is to have a money exchange. Another vendor that sells mats and other essential good for cash. Like bullets, soda and water. Also for a heafty price you could sell mats for gear and weapons. This would give you and incentive to spend that money that does nothing for you and gives you a reason to sell items. At this point there is NO reason to buy just about anything  that the vendors sell after a certain point. Just an idea. Lets hear what you all have to say.

I keep trying to donate money to the needy in game, and they keep asking for medkits. *Sheesh* Can't make anyone happy in this game. lol

Yeah something needs to be done with the exceeding amounts of useless credits you have when hitting end game, buy the Pakhan from the Advanced weapon vendor in the security wing and then that's it. Give us another vendor to spend them with or refresh the high end gear being sold at the advanced weapon vendor, the Pakhan and Cassidy have been available since I hit Lvl 30 and don't refresh with the new stock.

I don't think I've EVER spent any actual game credits on anything .... even as a completely new player I understood the mechanics as the same as games like WoW etc so never bothered.

Weapon and equipment drops are always better and more plentiful (except foregrips! I have to craft those), vanity items drop all over the place from civilians and ammunition etc are all free.

Now....if they introduced having to pay for restocks at safehouses (not your main operating base) that would mean credits mean something at least. Other than that I can't really see any use for them and the game has no real economy outside DZ credits

Yep! Vendors need to sell better items for lvl30 players! And what about the DZ credits? Before I enter a hint is advising me to spend my credits or I'm at the risk to loose a part of it if I die in the DZ ! I'm only lvl29 on DZ there is no stuff to buy the best of it starts at lvl50! I need years to get to that lvl as I'm playing solo mostly

I have now got to Lvl 30 and dz rank 53 so even dark zone credits are starting to accumulate again and become useless as I have bought all the blue prints I wanted from vendors. The only currency worth my time now is Phoenix credits which is why I have started a new character to get to Lvl 30 and have 2 accounts to run the dailies for double the Phoenix credits. Glad that the Phoenix credits share between characters!!

I think the whole idea of having 3 different currencies was a dumb one. They should just admit their mistake and combine them into one.

Credits are worthless. Dark Zone Credits are worthless. The only blueprints worth buying in the DZ cost Phoenix Credits. I'm not wasting Division Tech (which is a pain to farm) on level 30 blueprints and I cannot buy the level 31 blueprints with Dark Zone Credits, so what good are they?

They definitely need some type of currency exchange system

Let me spend X amount of currency for X amount of Phoenix Credits. Not to go into Destiny but eventually they had a currency exchange and it was probably one of the smartest things they did in that game to be honest

Thats a awesome idea maybe there is a way you can send that on to the devs who knows but the incentive to sell anything is small unless uour aiming to purchase the Pakhan or the Cassidy just to finish your collection.

Just checked out the video posted about the update patch notes (coming 12th) and there is some good news regarding the basic money in the game.

"Rolling attributes in the crafting station will no longer cost pheonix credits, instead rolling will be replaced with standard credits"

I swear that I read somewhere that a currency exchange system was supposed to be in place at launch. It might have only been between regular credits and DZ credits. I forget.

This is great, so annoying rolling high ends with Phoenix Credits ugh.

The b.o.o. offers vendors selling blue/green items for credits or purples for DZ credits (and for the really rich, HE weapons for credits). These in turn break down into crafting mats, though only one material per item. Might be a bit expensive for the return, but it's the best thing I've found so far.

Exchanging credits for phoenix, at almost any rate, would be a horrible thing that would only serve to widen the gap between older and newer players.

There is a bright spot though: With the next update, HE gear can be recalibrated for credits, not phoenix. That should help a lot of players find a use for their credits.

pheonix credits only become available when you hit end game (Lvl 30) anyway so some sort of exchange system could work. Bearing in mind that the newer players stockpile the credits like we have instead of spending them on useless items and gear compared to HE gear available in end game

I admit....I almost...ALMOST used credits to buy from the Ops last night as the trader had some Purple gear and I was very tempted...except the item may have had more armour (it was a flakvest) but less favourable attributes than the blue I currently have.

Glad I didn't now! I may only be level 16 but with about 20k in the bank it'll come in handy for re-rolls later!

Now I just need to find more blue and higher level blueprints....got a drawer full of useless green stuff!

I would advise deconstructing your stockpile of green items mate and convert into high end materials before the update. I managed to survive through the levels just using gear I picked up or crafted rather than buying. When I hit level 30 I had 450,000 credits and bought myself the HE Pakhan from the advanced weapon vendor. If you want to spend some credits mate it shouldn't be too much of a problem as they aren't too hard to come by in end game when you are running the daily missions

Totally agreed, I spotted that earlier today and its on my plan for my tasks tonight. Pretty much all my green stuff is to be crafted upwards.

...its going to be a LOT of spacebar presses!

if i were you i would pick up every drop no matter if its grey, green, purple. do not sell it, you will get plenty of credits just playing the game, only use what you need and deconstruct everything else/ you are going to need a ton of material when you hit level 30
