Okay so , I've been doing the daily mission "Lexington Event Center" on challenging difficulty for a little over 2 hours with some friends . And we're stuck on the rooftop part. With the enemies being level 32 and all yellow , they just swarm us and we find ourselves with nowhere to go other then the elevator . So we just die , over and over and over. You can hide in the evelvator , but they will follow you into the room. And if you take the elevator down, to hide , and come back up, all enemies will be respawned with FULL health . Any tips ? Or has anybody beaten this at all?

I found that the way to do this was to focus fire the guys on the right, use incendiary bullets and sticky bombs etc to keep them locked down as long as possible.  When they start rushing, fall back to the elevator, keep trying to fight them as long as possible. When you are about to be overrun, whoever is left alive, take the elevator down. Use pulse to watch them above, or if a friendly is down up there they can watch to see when the mobs lose aggro and move back to their original spots. They won't get reset unless you all die. Once they are back, go up the elevator and do the same process again.

You have to use a lot of your abilities, different kind of grenades/bullet types, a lot of teamwork and the most important thing: focus your fire on one single target. You'll notice they'll drop fairly quickly but you have to communicate and mark those targets. I've been hanging back most of the time making sure my teammates dont go down on health. It seems to be working.

i'm loving this challenge mode!

Incendiary Ammo is your best friend here, and bring plenty of ways to distract/disable enemies, especially the gunners. Shooting their ammo packs deal about 127k in very fast half-second(?) ticks when I did a run and they were LV32.

Also, your priority should always be the sprinters (lightning bolt icon). Those shotguns will wipe your team immediately if they get too close.

is there match making avail for these daily challenges like there is for playing a mission on hard?  my friend and I haven't reached lvl30 yet to see for ourselves and it appears that a squad of four is the way to go for a "challenge" mission.

dailys are easy.. just get better gear..  http://imgur.com/EleCA4P  ... me and my group look exactly like this and we have 0 trouble do the the challenge modes and now that we cant farm 10-15 phoenix off darkzone mobs any more we just farm cahllenge modes so we still pew pew

Edit: As most people dont have the gear I do now because they are not apart of the few who got everything before the nerf on the 12th. Here are some tips to help with beating the challenge modes. Here are things that are a must to make it as easy as possible, 2 people should be running the heal ultimate to res everyone. At least 1 person should have the AoE self res/heal. 1 person should be running a flame thrower turret (this makes it really easy to kill mobs as you should know what happens if you get set on fire. Also the sticky bomb blind isnt bad to have ether. And for the final person the stun dart turret. All members of the team should be running their own self heal. As far as the other 2 ulti's it doesnt matter you can run 4 mass res (which our group does). But also the security one isnt a bad choice ether for when you get the wave that has a bunch of melee people charging you.

Today's (3/15) was stupid hard and honestly, I think some things need to be fixed. For one thing, no one should be able to be one shotted by a shotgunner at the other end of a hall. That's just stupid.

It took me a couple of tries but we finished the Watergate Powerplant on Challenging. It was damn hard though

Here's the video of yesterdays Watergate mission

damn, that first firefight alone had me sweating lol cant wait to get to this point :)
Somewhere around the 1h:09 mark we managed to get by the timer part at the skin of our teeth. At first the game said we failed the objective but then we could progress.

yeah, it looks like you guys turned the valve a half a second before the timer hit zero ...skin of your teeth is an understatement lol

Hey. So this was actually the first daily mission i did and on challenging. needless to say i was blown away at the difficulty scaling. In the end i really enjoyed it though, it more than forced a lot of tactical rethinking.  I beat this with a full squad in 1hr54min. The part on the rooftop where you first get out of the elevator is brutal, no doubt. What my team and i did was have 1 agent geared towards marksman focus on popping out near the first brick column to finish off low health enemies. In the first moments of this section though thats near impossible due to the influx of charging enemies. We all equipped/spammed seeker mines and took turns popping out and laying down fire  to eventually push back the front line until we could start moving out and begin the "picking off" process i mentioned earlier. At least 15 mins of the rooftop section was spent in that first room adjacent to the elevator. Truly a test of patience lol. Dont fret though,  because after that when you progress to the boss encounter, you'll wish you were back on the rooftop XD  For that section have 2 agents stationed dead center 1 on floor 1 and 1 on floor 2, respectively, preferably marksman, as the other 2 agents alternate left and right side wings to hold off the enemies from making an attempt at rushing the stair wells and pinning you down in the mid-back room.  Incindiary bullets/turrets with wildfire talent to boost chance of applying burn damage for AOE helps too. Im sure many other people have different strategies that worked better for them but this is how we did it. Good luck, you can do it!

Sound intense, cant wait to get there myself.

The thing that even my squad and I forget sometimes is that you can change your abilities whenever you want. If you are playing with people you can chat with on a mic try to encourage trying different strategies including switching abilities around. We also found that giving up some ground can sometimes open up different areas where you can safely pew from. We like to play it a little risky but using the right abilities can help for that kind of play. Having a teammate go to a risky area to get the flank on them while using the defibrillator mod on the main healing ability can be used to your advantage because it doesn't take them out of play if they go down. Make sure to make use of your explosive and incendiary bullets as well. Also make sure you have a good balance of signature skills. They all have their place in battle. (Also make sure at least two people are using the more damage pulse)

I just managed to complete the Challenge Mode in Lexington today.

I found that there were three key choke points that made this a much more difficult challenge.

First, the Stairwell leading to the third floor.

The Rooftop, saving the Captain, and the final encounter.

Each time, it was mainly the shotgun users that finished off a group, with Heavies in close tail. Using flame turrets and incendiary grenades really help alliviate that.

Different abilities help a lot.

Update on that challenging daily. I just beat it with a 4 man squad. It's not impossible. Everyone just needs to be on point.

I beat the challenging from yesterday before reset, the lincoln tunnel mission. I feel like the challenging missions aren't that hard if you have space to fall back and there's no timers. Once there are timers and you have no place to retreat that's when it gets ugly. Some daily challenging missions are definitely easier than others.
