ive been playing the division here and there when I have time and I recently was able to make it to lvl 30. I just started playing in the dark zone and have made it to my gear being a measly 131. I realize I have a long way to go, but I was hoping to get some tips from you. I try to find people to play with using the matchmaking but I always get kicked out of the group due to my low level I think. when I manage to play with some guys, if a rogue group comes along we typically get slaughtered and im unable to keep the gear I played hours to try to keep. im essentially trying to obtain higher level gear so I can be a threat to the rogue agents and be able to fight off the AI targets when I roam the dark zone solo. Do you have any advice?

Answered on your other thread, basically I'd not recommend the DZ for you yet. You don't have a regular "crew" and you know you're just starting out... you can venture in briefly to DZ01 for quick runs to get one or two parts but the new Search & Destroy and HVT missions will be best for you to get your gear score higher.

The search missions, HVT and daily/weekly PvE stuff can be done solo or you can matchmake a lot of it (requires creativity for search and HVT) and get some solid gear that should get you closer to 180/190.
At that point you will probably have some regulars that you've played with in PvE that you can run the sub-201 DZ with and have a good time while collection some gear for the 201+ DZ. Also, once you get closer to 180 you can try out the incursions and will probably find them more enjoyable than if you do now, which is another good place to get top end gear.
If you're on PS4, send me a friend request and include you're from the forums. I'll run my main with whoever and do whatever. I'm not fantastic but I'll drop any gear that doesn't directly help my character and that can increase your drops. I'm 204 and my PSN ID is DeadSockPuppet.
