Hungry Hog Drop

Since the release of 1.4 there have been a lot of changes. I have returned to from a long time away from the game. Where can I find the hungry hog lmg? Does it only drop in the forbidden DZ? or can I pick it up in the world?

I'm not sure if this is still hidden behind some barrier like Showstopper was (and still is?).   I've seen a handful of the named weapons at the vendor in the Terminal at GS 229, but I don't think I've seen the Hog.

People been saying it mainly drops in the DZ (higher zones)

Most of the forum and YouTube posts I've seen/heard say Hungry Hog drops in The Pit in the upper DZ. Few of my friends have picked it up from there too. Maybe the best place to start looking/farming.
