Today I witnessed how cold and heartless some people can be.
I was on the train home with my girlfriend. We stopped in a station, suddenly there was a lot of commotion a few seats behind me. I saw a guy running off with a purse, stolen from some old lady. The lady's son grabbed him by the coat and there was a struggle. I stood up and went after them.
When I got there I got smacked in the teeth by the thief at which point I retaliated and hit him quite hard. He fell, hit his head quite hard and was out of it. By the time the police got there, the guy was already awake but restrained by myself and the old lady's son.
The guy showed zero remorse, he even laughed at the police officers.
I can't understand such behavior, I really can't.
afterwards I got some heat from my girl because I went after the guy. I told her I cannot stand idly by when stuff like that happens. She did make a good point though, what if there was an accomplice or what if he had a weapon/knife.
I think I'd do the same over again though. I just had to share that here on the forums.

Yeah I just went to work, browsed these forums, the Division Reddit and went home and played video games. Good on you for taking action. I would have just sat there and watched because in the US, dude probably would of have a handgun and I'd be dead.
