Hey all.  Just did a run through of the new Gear sets and the bonuses we can get.  Honestly they are pretty substantial when you get to the full talent level.  It takes 4 pieces for the talent to be in effect so you could even go 4 of one set and 2 of another.  Its going to be interesting to mix and match and i can't wait for the 12th.

Gear Set Bonuses & Talents revealed

Timestamps are:

0:10 Striker's Battlegear
1:37 Tactician's Authority
4:11 Sentry's Call
6:04 Path of the Nomad

Hopefully this is helpful to you guys.

Nice job , informative video. indeed everyone will want the sentrys call first . Little did they know they won't be able to go anywhere without a tactician , I like what ubi did here with a class specific role.

Striker's Battlegear

  • Set Bonus (2) = 20% Enemy Armor Damage
  • (3) = 100% Crit Damage
  • (4) Full Set = Talent Shooter: Every Consecutive hit deals 1% more damage. Stacks up to 100%. Missing shots drops bonus by 2%. Bonus is reduced by 1% every second.
Tactician's Authority

  • (2) = +4,000 Skill Power
  • (3) = +20% Skill Haste
  • (4) = Talent Tactician's Authority: Every 60k damage your group deals adds 1% skill power to you for a max of 100% bonus. Bonus is reduced by 1% every second the group isn't dealing damage.
Sentry's Call

  • (2) = 30% Headshot Damage
  • (3) = 20% Damage to Elites
  • (4) = Talent Stalker: Headshots mark the enemy. Increasing the damage inflicted on the target by 15% for a duration of 10 seconds each. A target can receive up to three marks.
Path of The Nomad

  • (2) = 50% Scavenging
  • (3) = 20% Health on Kill
  • (4) = Talent Nomad: When receiving fatal damage, you are instead healed to full health. Can occur once every 10 minutes.

Great stuff! So 4 pieces of strikers and 2 pieces of sentrys is my goal. But wait, you say...

.... indeed everyone will want the sentrys call first ....
Lets look at that.

4 pieces of strikers = +20% enemy armor damage, +100% critical, and a stackable effect that can reach +100% damage.

4 pieces of sentries  = +30% headshot, +20% damage to elites, and a talent that can add up to +45% damage to the enemy, for ten seconds

+20% enemy armor damage = +20% damage to elites, for all but the last section of their life/armor/health. These are functionally equivalent

+30% headshot damage =/= +100% critical, unless your build is lacking crit chance. It's a HUGE difference. Anywhere over 50% crit chance is at least +20% damage in the long run going with critical

+45% damage to enemy =/= +100% damage to the enemy...I hope I don't need to justify that. It takes more precision, but controlled fire should be a goal anyway

Now, 4 pieces of strikers adds up to +20% armor damage, +100% critical, and a constantly evolving damage boost culminating in +100% damage. Top it off with two pieces of sentries for an additional +30% headshot, and you're one hell of a dps monster...provided you can aim.

The talents do not really excite me that much.

I want 3 each of strikers and sentry. I'll be happy with that.
