Been venturing into the DZ slowly. Solo. And it has proven to be near impossible for me. I'm running a medic build with a Scar-H & an LMG.

If you have a low or next to no gear score then as long as you pop in and out for very short runs, taking down one or two mobs before escaping to the entrance again, you should be ok.
AVOID ALL OTHER PLAYERS REGARDLESS IF THEY ARE ALONE OR APPEAR FRIENDLY.
Unless they’re grouped with you before entering the DZ .. just avoid contact…run the other way.

I'm on the Xbox One, brother.
Thank you. But even taking down one mod has proven difficult for me. The purples & yellows are extremely tough. The cut right through my gear & I do next to no damage to them. Maybe I've gotten really bad drops thus far. Or I'm doing something wrong.

Are you in the GS 201+ bracket?
Try to switch to a dps/tank build. get your mitigation maxed and if you can add firearm/stam gear mods with skill points. I run with 10k sp, and it serves me well, but id really like it around 15k-25k.
In 201+ I'm at 250k dps, 398k toughness and 11k skill. Mitigation is at 75%. I have a full set of striker and 2 piece sentry for the headshot dmg boost.
In 160-200 bracket I'm at 238k dps, 313k toughness and 10k skill. Mitigation is at 73%. I run 3 striker, 2 sentry and one HE chest piece.
I use both builds when I'm solo and its done fairly well.

I don't know where to even find my GS... -.-' I know where I can find my Firearms, Stamina, & Electronics #'s, but not the actual GS.

If I recall other posts the OP has only just hit level 30 so is unlikely to have much except GS 30-90

Ohh, well id still go with a dps/tank build if youre solo. Keep the support build for groups. Also, smg is king in the dz for now.

I'm leveling up fairly quickly doing side missions & picking up phones & drones; finding missing First Wave agents. So on...
