Commendations - How are you doing.

I hit five thousand AR kills the other day, I was happy, then saw that the next level is another 5k, the pain...

what i do like though is that it makes you want to try a bit of everything, be it dz, UG etc and weapons too, I very rarely use snipers and lmg's but I'm  having a blast with lone star and I've been using a sniper in the dz with my hexo build. 

I'm not getting to bogged down with what my commendation score is, it will grow naturally over time. Just have a butchers at what the objective Is before diving e.g. When playing underground, try and unlock as many doors as poss.

I will probably raise a support ticket to sort out my stuck ones as they would take me over 2k and it is irritating  :3_grin: .

I sat there for Clear Sty to try and get some more kills before getting through the first section but it is so boring....  My TA Agent sat on the scaffold and dropped seekers and a ammo station and then just plugged away at the Riker guys and the Riker Shotgunners as they respawn 4/2 per wave.  The target is 5k kills to kit and this is far too slow.  Just running missions will be faster I think.

I gave it a go, turret and seekers, dropped down a few tiers... so boring.

i made dinner whilst it was happening, just took the fun out of it for me.

Anyone done Russian Roulette? On solo is too much like hard work, as we say here.

I imagine piggy-backing on a team is far easier. Seriously, do that.

Of course, you should shoot out the car tires of the limo with you revolver.

I'm guessing not. It says a "magnum", I don't think the Rhino is a variation of a magnum but its own brand.

Well, I had some 'person' trying to do Warrengate Legendary with just a pistol last night :32_expressionless: .  Needless to say we failed hard, usually to shotgunner rushes.  I didn't notice until we had 3 attempts at the two rooms with the explosives / steam valves.  Though it felt a bit harder than usual.  

May be worth giving a heads up to the team you end up with but, TBH, The Russian Consulate should not be too hard with a reasonable 3 person team and a pistol shooter.

Finally got over 2k.  A set of Nomad gloves dropped allowing me to complete the equip all sets commendations for 40 points (10 for Nomad and 30 for all sets).  Only have the last tier of revivalist to go as well till I can get that sweet zombie patch  :3_grin: .

Also, why does the grin smiley look like it is grimacing ?.  Seems to be more of a locked jaw grimace of someone without the right amount of roughage trying too hard :51_scream: .

There's another one (combat)  with killing ai. I think that's just a sidearm.

Russian Roulette is easy...  WT1 --> normal difficulty.  1 or 2 shots per bad guy :3_grin: .  Doing it also cleared tier 1 of pistol kills as well.  Oh and one AI died by flame turret so I guess you can also use skill kills without affecting it.

Same for the multiple kills on Clear Sky.  WT2 (lowest you can do it on) and challenging.  Just cleared Bomba-Man 2 but no way am I going to be able to do the second part on my own.  Just cannot carry the boxes without dying.

Think lower tiers may be the only real way to do the grenade ones as well with any speed.

Yeah, you've got more of the Mission ones done now. I should do some Last Stand. Mostly been DZing lately. Have you put in a ticket for your Stucked ones?

Mainly doing the legendaries to stock up on exotic caches for opening after 1.8 drops  :10_wink: .

Tried the DZ tonight.  DZ 7/8/9 finally unlocked and cleared the landmarks more or less solo.  Someone turned up at the top LZ and asked to team up so we did for a couple of landmarks and then they left.  Got a couple of commendation items as well.  Seems the only rogues were much further south which is fine by me  :3_grin: .

Regarding 1.8, are proficiency caches worthwhile saving? I keep hearing mixed signals. Is all gear Classified on 1.8 drops? Previous patches have gs increases though Classified is technically the same, which leaves the question whether 1.7 are tied to gs256 non-cf. So most of what I've heard is just peeps suppositions.

They're was a bit of a clammer for prof caches during the Halloween dbl rewards.

ive got a bit of classified from field caches so if you have the room there's still a very small chance that it will drop. But haven't heard of a drop rate increase... I don't think it will be all classified gear on 1.8 but I will see what I can find out. Most peeps seem to be saving exotic and weekly caches . I hope they hurry up as I'm starting to run out of room.

Ive got the most classified gear from playing dz, mate was kind enough to give me a reclaimer holster to complete my set and I finally got my lone star chest. Just final meaure to complete , problem is now the more classified sets they put in the less chance you have of finding that piece you want, it's not even a percent!!! 

They need to reward classifieds for incursions or legendaries, even if Its a small drop rate it will still give us a better chance...and it can be shared to so even a better chance or allow to optimise a gear piece to classified, would happily pay 10  mill and a chunk of div tech for that.

Thanks for that. Yeah, as they add more gear sets as Classified, it means the odds of getting that 6th piece in a set which someone wants diminishes more and more. After the first GE with 3 gear sets you had a chance.

Feeling they have changed the drop rate from LZ bosses, though. Not what it was prior to the end of the last GE. Could be my bad lack but...

It used to be 3% chance. And I found I'd get one Classified between two runs. Which works out, if you're keen on that drop. But now I really don't it's 3%. Got more from the lz after the 1st ge than dz. Now, I'd say it's the other way.

Trying to push people back in to the DZ maybe ???.

I got one from a LZ boss but that is all I have seen during no GE times.  None in caches or anywhere else.  None in the DZ but I have spent only a very small amount of time there.  Oh and the classified that dropped as for a slot I already had 2 other pieces of the same set for.

The premium cache vendor is also turning up duds all the time now and I only have 3 full sets from him.

I am around 2200 now I think.  Not really been pushing to get any more and TBH not been playing that much recently.  Did the legendaries this week and one of the Incursions for one character but that is it.  Waiting for 1.8 and resistance.

Zoom in on the map and slowly pan around.  I had the same and found my two illusive items both over by the top right side.  I had to really zoom in and go screen by screen searching though to see them.
