I love that they did this. Now we can have our character look how we want instead of everyone ending up looking the same towards the end.
Very true. It's leaves endless possibilities available. I think you can share clothes between characters you create.

I agree completely. Sadly may see alot same back packs, gloves, knee pads, and stuff like that. I most likely wont change those to much once I find a look I really like and just suffer consequences for it.

 
Customizing my character has always been one of my favorite aspects of gaming and I enjoy what they've done with this game, even if it's somewhat limited. I'd like it if they made it possible to customize the colors of your clothing but what I'd REALLY like is if we had the ability to preview or try on clothes in the Appearance Vendor in the Base of Operations. They're so damned expensive, especially in the beginning, it's just not fair not to be able to look at them before you buy them and are stuck with them. No matter how I look at it, it's completely absurd and honestly seems like a gross oversight on the part of the designers. And if you can't swing that, at least drop the price on them. 100 credits apiece for purely cosmetic items doesn't seem so unreasonable.
