it would be great if ah Guild or clan system where set in place because me and 10 friends gathered in the Dark zone to group up which was cool because we had two groups of 5 rouge huning or going rouge lolz. so ah guild or clan system i think would help friends gather help each other and as well avoid friendly fire because we where doing that alot lolz.

I assume clans will be allowed with no cap for how many people can join

Hopefully I didn't hear the wrong info

A guild/clan system would be great especially if they do announce a raid for end game.

While not in at release I've read rumors that it is in development. I'd imagine a cap at 100 just to keep the behind the scenes number crunching to a minimum.

I heard clans might be a possiblitie but at the same time uneven

Imagine entering the dark zone on any sever and an entire clan is gone rouge and just killing everyone

How would that be fair to the none clan people

As much as it would be fun to group up with a solid clan and complete missions/task

I for one think the hardcore clans out there would ruin most of our experences in the darkzone/high loot getting

While I agree that this would suck it' pretty easy to get around. Just zone back into the PvE area and re-enter the DZ. You'll be on a new server. Also, clans or no clans groups like this are going to happen so I'd rather have the option to clan up in game.

Is that how it works??

Everytime you enter the DZ you go into a new server ??

I thought you pick your server before entering the world like most MMOs(WoW...etc)

Every time you zone into the DZ or PvE area you are on a different server (now I suppose it could plop you back on the same server). This was how some people were gearing up in the DZ. They'd check all the DZ merchants for gear, buying what they wanted. They'd zone out and back in, on a different DZ server, the merchants all had different gear to sell. Rinse and repeat.

i agree maybe they can allow ah limit to how many clan members can be allowed to ah dark zone server maybe 8 ppl or something and the same for the pve

i can agree the the clans and stuff can be op like say you ah 20 man squad so i would say limit it to an 8 man clan squad per dark zone server.

Well I decided to take a look around and see if any Ubisoft games had ANY clan support or management system and it looks like there aren't any current games that do, unless I am missing something.

The fact that Rainbow Six Siege doesn't is a travesty. Pretty stupid that a tactical based game doesn't have any clan support system.

For me I hope there is something sometime. I mean seriously why would there not be?

Don't mean to necro but I couldn't really find any more info on this. Does anyone know if they are working on something that would allow clans or guilds?

That's an interesting find. I'd like clans but if it doesn't happen, no real biggie for me.

although Ubisoft doesn't seem to have clan support or grouping things ( even on rainbow where ranked gameplay is like the main thing) I think there is the potential for it in the division, 1 being that to my knowledge the majority of Ubisoft games are things like Assassins creed, far cry, no need for a group system. 2 as good as those games are you can 100% them very quickly. Across a closed beta and open beta I have almost a week in hours of gameplay. The division is a new animal for Ubisoft unlike anything they have released. It has massive potential for longevity and replay ability in a way that Ubisoft hasn't had before. Not to mention that Ubisoft is the publisher the game developers themselves may have plans for a clan system. Anything is possible at this point

I remember early on they were discussing a clan systems but if they were paying attention to bungie the good and the bad we will have a clan system and we will Have raids* I doubt they will be called raid probably operations or some military term.

They have mentioned Clan systems of some sort, but they also had hand held peripherals in mind also, that has been scratched. If they want to really be in the MMO genre, they will need raids at some point. I still think it will be called Raids, that is what they have always been called

Even if the guild/clan was limited to a certain size, that would be acceptable. I'd just like to not attack friendlies in the dark zone if it can be avoided.
