PS4 Heroic Missions

I have now completed 3 Heroic missions (1x Lincoln Tunnel and 2x Lexington) and the rewards are the exact same as challenge mode in regards to the items/weapons. Only 204 items dropped for me and the only benefit of doing heroic is the additional Pheonix credits. Has anyone else had any better drops? I thought that the heroic rewards are supposed to be 229 GS.

All 204 + 50pxc > some 204, some 182, some 163 + 30pxc

heroic only took a few more minutes than challenging running Lexington

Had a group melt Lexingon a couple days ago on Heroic.  We got mixed rewards, but it was entertaining.  Not looking forward to General Assembly, Warren Gate, or Russian Consulate on Heroic.  Doing those on Challenging is a pain in the ass as it is.

Ah yes, I remember it like it was yesterday...running the DZ solo as I often do...hearing the announcement for the incoming supply drop...and thinking, what the hell?  I went for it, fought through several mobs, and got it! All on my own!

This is what I was saying yesterday, you are better off doing only DZ in 231+ bracket in Zone 3-4-5-6 and HVT's and stop doing incursions and heroic mission because the missions doesn't give 229 and 268 stuff. But the incursions has been bug fix (falcon lost) like you can't stay anymore in the trench, the bombs from the apc's now kills ya even if you are under the catwalk and stuff.

It really make it more difficult in challenging almost impossible so imagine in Heroic!! Only heroic incursions will gave ya 268 and 229 gear but it does it worth the time to spend on it? I don't think so!! You are better doing HVT's weekly and DZ the shit out of this until underground comes in.

For the farming of PHC is awesome but nothing else!

I've done Lex Heroic 4 times.

Two of which, I got 204 gear, once 204 weapons (3 or 4). And more recent an Alphabridge 240 (I positive tat's where I got it).. 

Pre-patch - Challenge mode wasn't really about the gear. I guess heroic will be the same. People will do it for the pcs, mostly. And yeah, heroic missions are only a tad harder. It is easy to forgot which one you are doing.

I've done atleast 30+ missions on heroic altogether since the patch, and while you will get some new 1.3 weapons, they are 204's.  In such missions I have obtained the following 204's:

PP-19

Military G36

G36

SVD sniper

Paratrooper(sp?)

In the DZ I did manage to snag two 229 guns but they both were garbage and not of the new variety.   

I also find it very frustrating to go into the DZ solo and kill a  mob of 33/34s NPC's in the 231+ bracket and the boss insults me with a drop of a 182 Midas and another with a 204 water pistol.   I would have much rather kept my ammo.   This game is riddle with shitty drops acrossed the board.   

I did complete one of the HVTs and the game dropped like four 268 gear pieces and a 229 sniper.

I have been through a couple of rinses of Lexington on Heroic, and no-one in my party got anything better that 204 weapons and 240 gear set pieces.  That's not a big sample set, but that's my experience.  I'm probably going to start farming on Heroic, rather than Challenging, for Lexington.  It takes a little longer, but the drops are more uniformly 204/240, like an earlier poster said and the phoenix credit boost is good for not a lot more time or effort.  Russian Consulate or Warrengate on Heroic is not something I've tackled, but I probably will this weekend.

If I had a prize to give, I'd say that you win one because it's really so arbitrary.  DZ figures it on what it could be and inflates your score so you can't own lesser geared played and incursions require you to sometimes inflate your score to get into them.  If you know what you're doing, a lower GS player can own higher level ones, especially the kids that throw on whatever because it gives them the highest GS.   If you're not staying alive and killing you're enemies, high GS items can be useless to you.

Did Lincoln Tunnel on Challenging with 3 randoms.

Solid team. We struggled, but we managed to bust it.

Loot? 182 gold pistols, shotgun, and some random 163 gear pieces that immediately marked as junk.

That's really looking like challenge drops. Did you guys have to re-do the matchmaking? You know, when the mission fails to start. It might have "gottcha".

No. Straight-forward matchmaking. No restarts. Even this week's HVTs are giving better gear.

I mean, something that's equally or above the strength required to survive the difficulty.

I've done Warrengate (complete torture) and Russian Consulate (twice) and Lexington (Yesterday). None of them give something different than what HVT would... Worse, even.
