We tried Russian Consulate on Heroic and got stopped at the library and gave up after 3 tries because it was late and we were done with the punishment.

I don't know how many times my team died. But the blue and purple drops along the way without any worthy loots in the end surely pissed my teammate off.

Yeah i popped into a Russian consulate heroic which only had two guys left. They were pretty gutsy to persists with only two.
Those heroic shot gunners are tough sob's.

We figured if we got it done it would be worth the 70 PC and the drops would just be a little extra if they didn't suck.

Ubi needs to be aware of the general frustration that exists amongst players - particularly PS4. There's only so much you can take with an increased difficulty spike and sub-standard gear drops.

They need to stop playing in their little own test server 8 hours a day and start playing in public server 1-3 hours just like normal people. lol

The only real place to get solid gear to be set for heroic is in the DZ, since we don't have Underground yet. And my most recent two DZ attempts were rough:
1.) Last night my regular group ran for a little while and had gotten some decent stuff. We went to extract and got melted on the parking garage in DZ02 by some lvl 99 rogues who cut out rope and stole our crap. We should have tried a different LZ, but we're on the lower end of 231 and were already struggling with the mobs at the DZ02 LZ. We tried a little more and just got tired of only being able to extract crap gear.
2.) I was running with some randoms and it was nice and quiet because it was earlier in the US (8-9am EDT). We were getting ok loot and having a good challenging time in DZ02/03, when one guy ran off after a supply drop while the three of us were at the library getting attacked from like 2 mobs and the library crew. Finally the supply drop guy and one other dropped so it was me and a random. I got taken down because the fucktard wouldn't revive me and then he stole my green cache. I thought about taking his ass out, or letting him die and taking it back when he when down while waiting for extraction, but I'm not a prick so I didn't.
So, since DZ isn't really a solid option, it makes gearing up and doing some of the more challenging missions on heroic rather unejoyable.

The DZ has always been a balance between the thrill of the experience versus the risk of it going wrong. Sadly the likelihood of rogues, combined with tougher NPCs and sub-optimal drops in DZ1/2, has made it less enjoyable.

Can we get weapons and gears with Gear Score above 204 and 240 in DZ05-06 of 201-230 bracket?

Sound like there's a chance, but it's way lower than the 231+ DZ where the 229/268 items should be more the rule than the exception.

It's becoming a dilemma now. My teammates seems too afraid of changing gear. They're stuck in 210s, while I'm already turned into 230s.
I put extra time to join someone else to carry me and get better gears (even though it's Lone Star) just so next time I could carry my teammates through higher DZ areas of 201 bracket, yet the game put me in 231 bracket even when I was GS230...
I just ran the Hudson mission on heroic and got some crazy drops. I received a 240 GS final measure mask (which I was looking for) and a 229 GS "Showstopper" Shotgun. I have received maybe 2-3 pieces of 240 gear from heroic missions, but this is the first weapon above 204 I have got.

My alt is jelly for that Showstopper. She's an all shotty build and that's one of the few shottys I don't have.

I second the jelly. Been trying to find time to do heroic missions for the shotty. Mainly lex and Warren.

Me, too. I haven't run Consulate on Heroic, but the others are fun. No Showstopper for me yet, but I have less than 10 finishes on Heroic so far and now, I'm reinvigorated.

I ran Lexington a couple times on Heroic and that seemed almost easier than Challenging. Not looking forward to trying Russian Consulate or General Assembly on Heroic.

So far, GA mission is not available on Heroic, just Lexington, Consulate, Lincoln Tunnel, and Warrengate.

Warrengate on Heroic can go play hide-and-go f*ck itself cuz that will be stupid hard. Got to the library on a run in Russian Consulate and just got tired of getting wrecked so we dropped it.

And Hudson now. Lots of cleaner fire fun. :3_grin: Not hard tho. Russian Consulate is, predictably, the hardest. Warren not that hard as long as you aren't grouped with a bunch of woodchucks.. or quitters, for that matter.
Edit: Hudson is like the fire incursion but easy. You will see the occasional little car bombs coming for you
