Keep getting locked in the bus depot!

Dwarven Lord Under The Mountain
This happens to me ... this applies to HVT and S&D missions where I enter the bus garage which is split into two main rooms with a large rolling shutter dividing the two (I cannot recall now the area but think its in Clinton).

When you start the missions the shutter is open, as soon as you clear the 2nd room the shutter closes.... 90% of the time I'm in this room.

The shutter closes behind me and...there's no way out at all! Only way I can get out is by fast travelling BUT I often can't do that because of wandering mobs outside who are still within my aggro range!! I have to wait for a gap in the mobs and quickly fast travel out in that small window of opportunity.

IS this happening to others? What solutions are there apart from what I'm doing currently?

If memory serves this same place is used as a set encounter during story mode and the shutter closes then BUT the doors to the rear are interactive so you press a button to open them. This isn't an option for HVT or S&D mission targets.

Is this a bug?

Yes, a couple of times. Even could see my squadies outside, so could tell they got out.i must have been too tardy heh. Though, never had trouble with fast travel.

Logging out and in will take you to a safehouse. Though is a bit drastic and takes loading time. Not sure how long you have to wait for mobs to clear.

I've had two major issues once locked in.

1) Outside wandering mobs, technically still in my aggro range but not actually aggro'd but I can't fast travel as I'm "in combat" still according to the game. I've had to sit and wait this out, as I haven't turned in the S&D mission for example I wasn't sure about logging out and back in again...I might lose the opportunity to claim it at the safe house.

2) Wandering mobs that HAVE aggro'd on me from outside during the main combat. They're generally a nuisance only so on this occasion I just ignored them...but they stayed in the first room and I had real trouble losing aggro from them before I could fast travel out.

For me I'm doing these solo, and as soon as I kill the last mob the door rolls down. I've even had a chance to turn around and watch it!! There was no way I could have gotten out and collected loot.

I think you get the intel once SD is complete. So you're only risking the item. And hvt you dont have to return.

Yeah....I begrudge giving up even a normal HE however! ! LOL!

Wonder if this is as intended or a bug though? Should there be a physical exit from that 2nd room?

Haha thinkof  it as an experiment.  :10_wink:  what happens if i....

Well, i must admit, some safehouses i struggle to find the exit. So maybe there's another door lol.

funny that. I've been playing awhile and just found out there is another door to the meat locker! didn't even know it was there!

also, is anyone else annoyed with the door on the way out of the Crypt?

as you go up the little ramp out of the safe house and turn left the door is hanging on the left side of the door frame. I constantly run either into the door or naturally go left of the door and straight into the wall! gets me every time.

Yep get this as well.  I tend to get locked in when going to collect loot and so would suggest, for the time being, to try and kill them in the first big area rather than the smaller back area.  Not ideal by any means but avoids the issue.

When I have got locked in then I have not had an issue with fast travel at all.

Only issue with logging out and in is that I believe you will loose any uncollected loot.  Fast travel to a safe house and run back and you will still have your loot there in the first area that you may not have been able to collect due to the lock-in.

I would suspect a bug where one of the read doors should unlock or the roller should not come down.

Just had the door shut between me and a gear set item...fast traveled out, still see it on my radar, but can't get back in.  Boo :(

Exactly, I think any time we get into the bus depot we make sure we try and aggro the enemies out into the larger area as much as possible and/or make sure we pick up all drops before passing that door.

Last night, all the roller door in the bus depot shut on me.  The one between the internal sections and the one to the outside world.  I don't recall the one to the outside world shutting before but maybe I have been out before they shut in the past.  They all shut at the same time.  The outside door buttons were also disabled so no re-opening them.

Yeah I think @  ShootFirstPodcast{___base_url___}/profile/7277-shootfirstpodcast/,  said they dropped the ball on that fix. :/

It shut on me also, It wouldn't let me fast travel to any safehouse. I ended up logging out.  Couldn't get the HE loot either.

You will get a small window to fast travel at some point but you have to wait until ALL the mobs outside the bus depot have left your pulse range unfortunately. Best thing is to try and aggro the mobs from the 2nd room out into the first room and pull them further out....they should follow you but it takes time and you will aggro outside mobs as well to add to the pain.

I'm hoping this is logged for a fix down the line though.
