What Gear Set Combos are you doing?

Technically this topic may belong in Strategies/Builds... but it's not because I'm more just curious what everyone else is thinking combo-wise as an opinion.  I've basically gotten to the point where I built a spreadsheet with all of the Gear Sets and their bonuses and started putting together combinations to try and figure out what Darcy and I should do.... and there's so many options.  What are you doing?  Currently I'm going the 3/3 Sentry's/Hunter's Faith combo.... I just completed it last night, though; so haven't been able to try it out in real time just yet.  Will let you know how it goes after tonight's play through.

 
I'm thinking 4/2 predators mark/final measure. Want to try the 10 shot bleed bonus and 50% exotic damage resilience is showing to be a must for me encountering those flame throwing mobs/bosses...
Something that might be worth trying out if you're going 4 Predator's is doing 2 Sentry's.  In theory, the 30% Headshot Damage from the Sentry part will possibly add a bunch more damage to that Bleed.  That was something I was looking at as well.

I'm running with some standard gold stuff (GS163 - 184) apart from the turquoise knee pads (Striker?) I got from the Falcon Lost incursion. 

 
Changed my build to a hybrid build last night. 2 pc of striker for PVE 20% armor dmg / 2pc of final measure for 50% dmg resistance / 2 pc sentry for the 30% head shot bonus 

Piling on the Exotic Dmg Resistance I am up to 79% now. Also able to keep a 220 dps / 310k toughness / 12k skill

That's cool.  Honestly, jump into those High Value Target missions.  Our brother-in-law went from 173 to 195 in less than 2 hours last night from the combination of Search and Destroy and HVT missions.  That was literally all we did.

That's an interesting choice.  The Flamethrowers aren't bothering you at all from the sounds of it!

Still certainly have to watch out for the Tanky 34 Flamethrowers and the little guys running around now are much more manageable. I was also able to get my Armor Resistance up to 75% so I am certainly happy with my current build.

He's got a great idea going for the DZ. Armor only mitigates bullets, and there's a LOT more kinds of damage incoming than that from DZ enemies. 50% exotic mitigtion is GREAT in pvp and against the npc's grenades/flamethrowers/etc.

 
Final measure 2 piece should be on everyone's gear set up. It is far too good to not have. I'm running 2 final measure, 2 sentry and 2 striker at the moment but still testing a few out. My stats are 176k DPS, 385k toughness with 74.8% damage mitigation from Armor and 12k skill power

 
I ran for about 2 hours last night in DZ06 and while my squad mates were getting roasted by Cleaners I am happy to report the 79% Exotic Dmg Resistance is a wonderful thing against them.

That's a good point!  I forget about the PVP-implications sometimes.  My current focus build-wise has been on how to roll PVE-wise.  I tried out my 3/3 Sentry's and Hunter's has been INSANE against Elites.  It's funny, though; because I'm killing yellows and named people far faster than Purples.  It's an odd occurrence.  I'm pretty sure I one-shotted a Yellow 31 with a headshot last night while it took 3 headshots to down the same kind of Purple 31.

 
4pc tac, 2 pc final measure for support builds. Half the time I run around in DZ 5/6 groups we have to run a tac build. Someone who can keep flash bang and a 100k heal up nearly at all times. Can get away with 4pc tac 2pc sentry if you stay in the background a bit.

Darcy's working on 3/3 Tactician's Authority / Predator's Mark.  But she's been debating doing Final Measure instead of Predator's.

 
I'm planning on running 2 lone star and 4 predetor's mark.  I like the +100% ammo and I always run an AR so the bonus AR damage is nice as well as the bleed being a solid option.  

That being said, depending on how that plays out I might sub 2 predator's mark for either 2 striker (+20% armor DMG) or 2 sentry (+30% headshot DMG).  Ideally, the 2LS/4PM will be my default (unless it ends up sucking) and the 2 striker & 2 sentry will be situational that can be swapped in.
