They give you every option to group up that you could have, from boards like these with group finders and clan sections, to in-game matchmaking stations. Solo is very doable, and no changes made will make that untrue, but you'll have to gear well and play well to go against the "natural" flow of the game to grouped content. You won't survive the DZ now solo unless you find a very quiet phase and treat it like it's a PvE zone, so what's the difference?

You have to remember that this is a team-oriented game.  My wife always complains about the fact that we have to group with people for the Incursions, for instance; but I give her the same response:  The Division is a squad-based game.  Soloing is always possible in the same fashion that soloing a Challenge mode Incursion is possible.  It can be done, but just requires a different play style than you may want to put in, lol.

Even grouping up with randoms is preferable to going alone in the DZ if you actually want to get anything done. Then again, going in alone is a SCARY THRILL!!! Sometimes I go in alone, not to collect anything but just for the rush....

Sorry but saying you won't survive in the DZ solo even with the new update is a false statement even in a busy server. Just because you have a group doesn't mean you are any safer than if you were running solo, if a strong group of agents are running in your DZ server and they are intent on going Rogue you're going to struggle either way.

Yep the funny thing is will it just spew out all the loot that will be funny just trying to find your loot lol

I think you misunderstand. What I meant was if you go in solo and expect to run anything other than bosses, you're boned. If you enter a phase with a high percentage of players running PvP, you're very likely boned as well.  A well geared player stands a better chance, and doubly so if they're well versed in pvp, but the upcoming patch will do nothing to hinder or help any of this.

Every phase has "that group of rogues". Maybe you manage to avoid them, but they tend to frequent the same farming routes as non-hostile players. Your best defense is grouping up.
