Why grind dz

are you only depending on drops to get your gear score up? if so then you are doing it slightly wrong. they do have gear score 214 blueprints in the base of operations.
I know of those and yes I partly craft my gear. I did so with 2 out of 3 set pieces from the Sentry's Call set that I aim to use with the 4 set bonus once I got the missing 4th set piece. But there are not always good BP on sale and for example the weapon mods take many HE tools to craft so I can't craft alot of those to get good rolls, same with weapons. I am almost always missing the tools. Weapon parts come in from HE drops as do other crafting materials except Division tech. That is why I wish they would give you a tool too when you deconstruct stuff that requieres them to craft.

then how are you still under gear score 180? i have 3 pieces of the sentry's call set and im 186 right now. what weapons to you have? what other gear do you have? what mods do you have on your gear and weapons? i did the incursion only once so far, I plan on doing it more to get the rest of the gear i need to get a higher gear score., then i plan on doing the incursion on challenging, that should get me over 200. just farming the hard and challenging dailies wont get you there to fast, best bet is to farm those missions for phoenix credits and if you happen to get a good drop, thats just a bonus. build up your credits and craft your gear.  also get your DZ rank up past 50 and get some of those dark zone blueprints. trying to depend mostly on drops, you will always be at the mercy of RNG. i am getting a ton of HE material off the HE drops i cant use. i also pick up every single drop, be it white, green, blue, or purple...i deconstruct everything to get me materials...does it take a long time? yes it does, but this game wasn't designed for you to get everything very quickly, they want you to grind, that's the nature of the beast :)

My current GS may be because I use at least one blue M1A because it has the balanced talent and after testing was better then my superior and high-end version so I sticked with that one. I think pure GS wise I could be a little higher by using a weapon which does less damage but what's the point in doing that? Still have not found a single first wave m1a not to speak of one with a good role on the talents, that is why I stick with the blue one for now.

I also pick up every gear piece I find in PVE although not in the DZ there I only pick up purple and yellow/gold and of course if I ever find one "dark green" for set item.

I still have to find a group which can run the Falcon Lost on hard with a high chance of winning it every time. Did not manage to get "my" regular group good enough to finish it even once yet. So yes there will be better loot dropping once I manage to finish it daily or even more then once per day. But since then I "only" have the challenge Missions and the dailies for PXC and hopefully a good drop here and there. DZ is more and more becoming a no go zone for me because I get downed by Rogues and or cheaters almost daily. I run the DZ mostly in a 2 man group since I do not often get a 4 man team going for the DZ. Since I get one shot from most Rouges even with my 75k HP and 63% armor mitigation (not talking sticky bomb build here) I tend to not visit the DZ that much anymore.  Maybe it is just my bad luck again that I tend to meet these people in the DZ that either shoot me from across the map through walls or kill me with a BMAK quicker then I can lean back into cover at a distance of 15-20m after shooting a short burst their way.

As already said, I do not mind the grind. I just like to get a reward every now and then for grinding on a daily basis. If that's not happening why grind at all? And yes I do expect to get a good drop from time to time and not having to reward myself so to speak by crafting better gear. They claimed that they nerfed crafting because they wanted the players to loot more and craft less. And the best option to get better gear still is crafting? Am I the only one that sees the error here?

may i suggest some good weapons to use? i have the black market AK and the Navy NP5 N..My Black market AK right now is 196K DPS i did have a great roll on it, i have deadly, brutal, and ferocious..plus my mods i have on it get me to 196 DPS...my MP5 is at 165 DPS. ..these are great, reliable weapons to use that melt rogues and NPC's. they will get you by very well till you find better weapons more to your liking. ...also, you can join a clan or find a group of very good people to team up with, right here and these very forums..there is a "clan" section and a "looking for group" section. since you are in Germany, i don't think we would be gaming at the same times, but you can add me on uplay (same name that is on here) and if you see me on we can run together with my team if they are available. ..just trying to help :)

I know that those are good weapons but I did not mange to get a 204 BP version of one of them and the ones I found were bad or at least worse then the HE-M4 I use as my main weapon. I will find good weapons or be able to buy good BP from the B.o.O. vendor someday. I just hope to get a bit more lucky with the drops at the end of the PVE missions so that I might not have to wait for a BP to get a good weapon.

Yes the timezone difference will be a problem that mostly can be covered on weekends where I can play earlier and or longer then on workdays. I'll look into the clan and "look for group" section if someone in Europe looks for regular players. Do you live more east- or westcoast timezone like?

Thx for the offer by the way.

Blazzen and I play together to so there's another plus to rolling with us as I am just really fk'n good at this game, regardless of my stats. I'm like the Clint Eastwood of The Division, except I got a name and I'm takin names too.

HAHAHA usually, the people that are good, dont need to brag about being good LOL :)

Ha finaly the "special gear vendor" in th B.O.O. had a really decent weapon for sale.

I think all of you who play daily already know this. But my Division days got way brighter since I bought that gun. As you may have guessed by now I am referring to the AUG. I got mine to 211k DPS (when at full health). I can finally kill level 32 enemies in a decent time frame (decent as in before they can kill me). That made challenge missions alot easier and finally made it possible for me to finish "Falcon lost". I am now the rather proud owner of a 4 peace set of Sentry's Call and a 4 peace set of Tatician's Authority. But I have to stay honest here, I bought 4 BP of the vendor to finish the set's which took a while of challenge mission grinding to get all those Phoenix Credits.

With the 4 piece set bonus of the Sentry's Call set my damage increased even more. With a tripple "marked" bonus after the 3rd consecutive headshot hit I managed to hit critical with my HE custom M44 for over one *sweet* m i l l i o n  damage.
Although I guess that a pulse from another agent helped with that...not sure there as I was to happy to notice the big critical hit.

There is still a lot to tweak and finetune on my gear as always but finally I am out of "the vale of low gear score" so to speak. I am sitting at 194 GS now and I try to work with my or find a decent group daily to grind the incursion additional to the other daily missions. I really wasn't expecting, that a single 204 GS weapon would change my personal gameplay expirience so much.
