Where do you get gear and weapons before DZ and level 30

im Level 18 today, and im not having much luck finding good gear, i have all blue with one purple, id like to have all purple, and maybe a good purple ACR or Aug, or assault rifle(purple) and my second id like to be a sub machine gun.

so where does one go to find Purple gear and Weapons outside of the DZ?

in short im gearing for Solo entrance to DZ1

Hey Metal,

Other then doing the mission's on hard, there isn't really anywhere to get higher end gear unless you go to the Dark Zone or Incursion's.

If anybody else knows of a way I don't, please reply with it!

Don't sweat your gear at 18. Whether you're in greys or purples, you can level up. The gear your wearing won't matter at all in another level or two, so you're just wasting your time trying to track down the "best" stuff. Take what's given to you by drops or missions and make the most of it, it'll be plenty.
