Celebrate Situation: Snowball together with us! When logging in, you will immediately feel the holiday spirit as we have prepared some gifts and activities for you!


SITUATION: SNOWBALL


Starting today, December 10th, all Agents who login will receive a Holiday Supplies care package that includes three Standard Apparel Keys, three pieces of equipment, and your very own Holiday Hat. Additionally, there are reports of Ambusher Hoarder NPCs spotted in Washington D.C. who are wearing Holiday Hats.These up-to-no-goods offer a special treat, if you can find and kill them: The Sleigher Tommy Gun! This named weapon shoots snowballs and comes with a unique talent "Hidden Rock"—headshots apply confuse, can occur every 20 seconds. How do you get your hands on it? Your first Hoarder will drop the gun, guaranteed. Afterwards, all Hoarders will have a chance to drop another.

Ambusher Hoarders can be found in the open world, roaming the streets of D.C.

SILENT NIGHT


We're also running Apparel Event #5: Silent Night, live now until January 7th. Not only do we have some unique outfits, weapon skins and emotes available, we also have improved the way Apparel Event keys are earned. Now every third Field Proficiency Cache and every fifth Dark Zone Proficiency Cache will drop a key, making it easier to know when you can expect your next cache! What's more, gifting is now available for the first time in The Division 2, allowing you to share the holiday spirit with your friends and clean the streets of Washington D.C. in style!

Additionally, we have a Premium Credits promotion for the holidays. From December 10th to 17th, players will receive a 25% increase when purchasing Premium Credits from the in-game store.

HARDCORE MODE


We wanted to try something new for the holidays! Alongside Situation: Snowball, we are also introducing Hardcore Mode to The Division 2—one life, no respawns, and progress wiped upon death. Learn more about this new addition here. Are you up to the challenge?

[SIZE=2em]Known Issues with 6.1 UPDATE[/SIZE]








We're happy seeing your warm reception of Update 6.1. We can't wait to see more crazy clips and stories emerging from the Hardcore Mode and the Black Tusk will surely fear the SHD even more now once you are equipped with the Sleigher Tommygun.

With that said, the Title Update 6.1 deployment did not go as planned and our maintenance was extended by 5 hours, for a total of near 8 hours downtime. We want to apologize for this and assure you that we were as bummed out about it as you were! As compensation, all players who log in before December 31st will receive an additional 3 keys for the Silent Night apparel event.

• TU6.1 Issues we are seeing reported by our players and are actively investigating:
  
  Invisible walls.
  
• Targeted loot behaving differently, not dropping as frequently as before.
  
• Delayed delivery of Apparel Event keys for Year 1 pass owners.
  
  This seems to fix itself after playing for a while, but we will investigate further.

[*]Clan Caches are item Level 350.

  This seems to be a visual bug only and the items inside have the correct item level.
