I should preface this by saying I've tried matchmaking a few times.

Love this game but im having a tough time as a solo player.

Not bitching but just in general the actual missions are really tough as a solo player.

I've managed to solo everything and I'm rank 21 but damn I think I'll try side missions till I'm at least a full level above the suggested mission level.

Anyone have any advice on soloing to max level.

I have a ton of friends that are currently playing, but they're already level 30 so if they join the enemies scale so much higher than my current level rendering me useless.

Thanks for any input.

I've solo'd the entire game save for the last 3 main story missions. This was around LV27.

Keep your gear updated. Craft them if you have to, and make sure that you balance health and DPS. Skill power can go out the window unless your weapon has a good talent you want to hit requirements for.

Definitely try and level up one or two spots above recommended mission level, that and get your self a good weapon cause it will make all the difference. I stumbled upon a specialized P416-(DPS over 6000) in a locked room while replaying a mission and it changed everything for me. I beat the napalm mission solo in one go with that gun.
