The Division Skills, Talents Breakdown

You know what would be really cool, if there was some sort of online talent calculator so we can produce our builds visually like World of Warcraft or Elder Scrolls Online did in the past. Anyone around here who is proficient to turn this idea into a webpage? :D
If you are we'll host it here! However I'll look into this as well.

Great post! Even with all the Division news I've been reading, I've still been missing any good info on the classes. Thx

Excellent... *steeples fingers*

Just what I was looking for! Great write up, thanks for taking the time to break it all down and put it on paper, so to say.

Sweeeetttt.  I love seeing the different skill mods!  I've started my spreadsheet and will have to update it with this info.... Muhahahaha
I know you love your spreadsheets! Will you be kind enough to share once it is created? Thanks.

PS. I have been enjoying the podcast. Good stuff!

Great work!!! I had this page up as I listened to Rouge Agent Radio podcast 15.  It helped me get my mind around everything!

Absolutely! i typically use it to help design my character builds. What is something you'd like to see it do?
Awesome! I like to stay organized and plan out builds too. Feel like research is always good with character designs in RPGs. By far the most efficient way to create a min/max build for end game. The Division may change some of that since we will be able to swap skills, talents, mods, etc on the fly. I guess we will not have to worry creating multiple toons like other RPG/MMO games. The only way I see having multiple characters is to have male/female or PvE/PvP versions. The only downside I could possible see is that everyone will ultimately run a similar build to be most combat effective in either PvE and PvP. Obviously it is too early to tell if this will be true. I hope the game changes its dynamics (e.g. weather) to keep everyone on their toes.

I could see having a spreadsheet where you select one skill, the sheet will update requirements for unlocking specific talents and perks. Otherwise I am not sure at the moment without having played the game. Soon though!!!

For me I had run out of lock picks and couldn't open some doors  :depressed:
It is quite possible it was a bug, or that she had many. I just remember her saying "Oh I can keep opening them!" You know us, we were drinking.

Must've been a bug cause you don't have unlimited lock picks. Maybe in the alpha you did tho idk

possible, I meant more as a pick system, like this pick unlocks all level one doors, etc. Obviously that is not the case, but I didn't encounter anything to unlock at all in beta, for some reason, like I did alpha. Maybe because I was mostly in the dark zone. But I do remember picking up many picks more than once.

There was that door in the hospital mission, I mean if you go in there you die cause of the contamination level but if you ran through you can grab the loot before dying.

Yeah, I didn't open that one, a buddy did, but I do remember picking it in the alpha. It wasn't contaminated in the alpha. So Lady ran in and died in the beta like, "What happened?!?" we hung out in that room for awhile in the alpha lol

Haha yeah I can picture her doing that.

Coupled with the gear and weapon stats and options, dows anywone realize how deep these skills allow you to go with creating a min/max charachter? getiing a perfect setup for a certain style of play is going to be so much fun! Finally a reason to grind!

There are a lot of layers you have to consider when you build your char. Main-skills, talents, weapon-talents, character attributes, buffs from gear, buffs from gear-mods, weapon-talents and weapon mods. So many layers and to have it all on legendary, there is a bit of grinding involved.

True, plus there will always be some sort of build that's OP compared to others. It's an MMO anyway
