Hello! As someone newer to the game, the amount of diversity available in the builds is staggering, almost to the point of being intimidating.

Hence the topic. I felt like asking you all on your opinions of what makes a good team dynamic!

For example: In the typical MMO fashion one would assume you'll want a tank, a healer, and some damage dealer. In this game, however, those are very loosely defined roles. For example, someone who lays down suppression fire could be considered a tank of sorts, or a support. Someone packing a healing station and first aid could be considered a healer, or a mobile speed fighter who relies on the on-the-go healing as they duck from cover to cover to flank.

Also, some people may be doing multiple roles at once. Someone could be an assault class but also a tank, or a sniper but also a healer, or a support and a damage dealer...

Some groups function better with just 5 damage dealers all toting first aid and pulse scan, or perhaps other class and weapon combinations are needed? Let me know your thoughts!

seems like most people just run in loosely knit groups and dont worry too much about roles. I'm sure if  a group was really tactical they could excel but it doesnt seem necessary in this game really. maybe if they bring more difficult challenges with more variety it will encourage more tactics.
