Side missions disappeared

Can anyone suggest a solution to my problem?

My friend ran my through a mission and when we finished it all of my encounters and side missions that were on my map before had all vanished. Tried restarting the game but nothing happened

Did your friend finish them ? 

You might be a bug getting "stuck" in his session :-/

I have noticed the opposite, joining a friend, who have not completed them and they show up on my map again, even if i have completed them. It might be a bug, and it might get fixed in the upcoming update

who ever is the leader of the group, their map will show and what ever they hasn't finished yet will be on the map, or vise versa. you have to leave the group and maybe go to the base of operations and your map should be back..if not, then it might be a glitch
