Should the Stash space be expanded?

Hello, I was wondering if you have any opinions regarding the Stash in The Division. Is there not enough space? Too small? Personally I think it needs a bit more space, because it gets annoying having to frequently clear out your stash for extraction loot.

P.S. Keep it civil.

Absolutely.  I also thing that they should add paint jobs to your apparel tab and not as an individual item that takes up space in your stash.

Yes, the stash definitely needs some expanding. 30 spaces is not enough, and with the new "Gear Sets" coming, people are going to want to collect them all, but have nowhere to put it all. Maybe 100 slots to start with? Then you could expand using Phoenix credits if you need more space?

I think it should absolutely be expanded. Also the weapon skins should be treated as apparel.
I completely agree with this. I thought it was really strange from the start that weapon skins take up space yet clothing does not. The skins should be treated the same way. Additionally, If my backpack can carry 64 items, then the stash should be able to match if not carry more. I've created 3 additional characters just to hold gear that I'm not sure if I want to keep around or not.

100%, let's make this happen.

The stash space seriously kills me, with all the options for builds and the upcoming gear sets and we only get 30 slots!? I do like how it is shared among all your Agents though. nice touch

Also in agreement and hoping for an expansion to the stash as it is annoying having to duck out of the dz to clear space for my extraction items! Totally agree that skins should be treated like clothing, the stash is small enough as it is never mind having skins in it!

I would like to see the weapon skin mods treated as clothing.

Other than that though, I think I'm okay with the stash size. I like that you cannot just keep everything and have to decide what you want to keep and what you want to sell/deconstruct.

I wouldn't be against a small expansion. Like a one-time fee of 200 Phoenix Credits for 10 more slots.

Considering that clothing and crafting materials are not taking up spots, I think the current size is good enough. I imagine it is driving hoarders nuts though.

If weapon skins remain as individual items, then yes, the stash NEEDS to be increased (I'd hope for at least 75 slots).

If they get lumped into apparel, I don't see the need:

1 PvE gear set (5 weapons, 1 sidearm, 6 gear pieces) 3 pieces total in inventory, equipped gear takes zero space. PvE has yet to show ANY indication that anything but a solid dps build is needed, as healing skills work well enough even at their lowest stats.

4 alternate gear/wep sets at maximum (pvp sets for dps, healer, electronics, hybrid/experimental/tank/etc) assuming a full loadout for each, 48 pieces in inventory

total of 51 pieces in inventory at maximum at any time. If you realize that changing your weapon has very little bearing between builds, we can shorten this to 27 (6 pieces of gear per set, plus 3 alternate wep types). You still need to be able to do SOME dps in any build, even if that's solely from weapon stats. My lowest backpack on any character is 50 slots, so I'm left with 23 empty at the least, if, for whatever reason, I'm carrying every set I'd ever use at once (fat chance). There's zero reason why you couldn't decon items you collect as you go along to always have free space (even the final fight at the UN doesn't hand you 23+ items at once), and you'll NEVER have 23+ items worth saving from any run (and by the time you should be collecting drops, the fight in that area is over, you have all day to play with inventory before moving on). No matter how you try and justify it, there are items worth saving, and then there's the 99% of everything else that's never going to be an improvement, or even worth holding on to.

we get 40 slots in stash, thanks to the tech wing (30 slots base, +10 slots for completing the wing)

Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but I think if you attach weapon mods to a weapon before storing it, that is only taking up one space in your stash, not 4 or 5.

Yes, that is correct and the same idea works with Gear and Gear mods
it's also a bad idea until 4/12/2016, as they've identified stored objects in your inventory with mods attached as a possible cause of the lockout glitch

I see. I've never experienced any issues with said lockout, I normally keep a few attachments I want to hold onto on Midas in my stash 24/7

same here, but I refuse to take that chance now until the patch drops on the 12th.

There is a simple work around.

If you really feel you need more space, create 3 more characters. Even without leveling them up, they can carry what, 30 items or so each?

Problem solved.
