I have a gear score of 197 with my best gear on I can be 200. But for some reason I am in the 201 bracket for the DZ. I have even given all my other gear to my alt so I don't have anything over 182 in my stash. Do weapon attachments and performance mods count towards gear score?

Like you said; if you have your best gear on, you'd be 200. The game takes into account all of the gear you have so that people can't technically be over 200 Gear Score, get in the lower bracket, and then switch their gear to grief lower level players. Fortunately for you, though; if you're in the 200+ Gear Score bracket you have a very high chance of getting higher level gear very quickly to fix that situation.

This definitely cut off majority of my friends that were below 200. Now I'm stuck waiting for them .

From what I hear, do the HVT Weekly ASAP and I'm quite sure they'll be up to snuff before the day's over.

I believe you can have them join you in the 201+ bracket if they are up to it. Last I checked them have to go into group management and select your name and they can confirm they want to join you in the higher bracket

Oh yeah; good point. It'll say something like, "Join High Instance" or something to do with the word "Instance".
