Optimal Range

I have found several weapon mods lately with this as one of the bonuses including a Muzzle Break, 3.4x scope, Acog scope, and I believe either a rds or russian red dot sight. Does anyone use these or is it too much to ask to give up crit chance, dmg, or headshot dmg?

 
I'm planning an all shotty build that will use probably a super 90, a double barrel and a sawed off and then lone star x2 and predator's mark x2 and I might look for mods with optimal range.  The idea is to have a non-stop shotty firing character with tons of ammo that never has to reload.  Using the PM gear and additional optimal range mods will give some pretty good range.  

Aside from an oddball build like that, I would prefer crit chance or damage first and then depending upon the weap possibly stability or horizontal stability.

i just happened to get a bunch of it all at once and held on to the best of it. I hadn't thought of using the 2x predators mark with a shotty to get that bonus range. good idea

I think I originally heard the idea on one of the DZR podcasts, but it sounds like something fun to try.  And if the all shottys don't work an LMG can be paired with the shottys for a tank or support build.
