Hi friend i am no much experience before i was using mix build now need help which Build this best for Player vs Enemy and Player vs Player ? thanks wait for reply

Hey @Zohaib welcome to the forums.

The hot favourite in PVP is 4pc Predator's Mask + 2 Nomad (which I really want to try). Or the simple go 4pc Banshee (this used to Blind gear set).

Whereas PVE is wide open at the moment. Depends on what style or what type of weapons you like to run with. For fun, it's really good to try 4pc Firecrest with a fire turret skill. I think builds with high skill are running fairly well.

What's your favourite weapon combo?

I've only played 1.4 for a couple hours last night, but I have a feeling I'm going to be running possibly two high end pieces and 4 set pieces on my toons.

I didn't have the PC to get it last night but I saw a HE backpack with specialized on it (+200% of firearms and stamina to skill points) and I think it had something for healing station too.  On top of that, It had 3 mod slots, 1x gear and 2x performance.  Something like that could be pretty beast for my skill build.

The stock for the vendor I saw it with resets at 8pm EST tonight, so I have a feeling this is a unicorn I might be chasing for a while.

AR and SMG. Predators Mask is good. It certainly is popular, as in missions you can see the bleed affect procing (4pc).  You get 8% dmg for a 3pc.

The mixed bag:

I think Hunter's Faith is undervalued.  You get 20% headshot for 3pc. Depends on your style of play and how accurate you weapon is, how good it is for headshots.

Some spare Sentry pieces are good. 2pc gives you 30% accuracy. While Striker gives 20% accuracy. They can be a notifiable difference to your damage. They make good spare pieces to whatever else you are focusing on. ( I had a Huntersx3/Sentryx2/Savage gloves in the pts and it run very well.. headshots headshots headshots...)

Final Measure is as good and relevant as it was in 1.3

Nomad as a 2pc gives 14% health on kill. And 3pc  gives a health over time boost. I haven't tried this but sounds good on paper.

And Firecrest 4pc with the turret- dragonbreath.  Some people still think it is gimmicky, however it is worth the go. Esp. for solo. It feels like there are two of you when trying to tackle a mob. It is just an opportunity cost thing, at 4pcs you might be missing out on more dps builds. So, obviously like anything else, it is how well you use/lay-down your turrets. Use the last two pieces with some gold HE to boost your skills usage. @RimBlock recommended  15% skill damage back as health  and  Get 200% of your firearms and Stamina combined as Skill Power

And pay attention to gold  HE gear. There are more interesting options than the savage gloves. Esp if you want to have more of a skill build. And if you're after a tanky build, the 10% armour while in cover helps a lot trying to hit the armour cap in tier 4.

i think pve builds are still quite open.

oh, and just spruiking hunters faith some more. Even the 20% optimal range is handy with some ARs, At least the ones that the recoil doesn't kick like a mule. It is not an attribute you should aim for over others, just that it is still relevant for ARs. Its not pointless as it seems.

Edit mised a "not" lol

I briefly tried running a 4pc set predators mark in 1.3 but it wasn't very high gear score so looking to try and get some at a higher gear score. Still running with my strikers 4pc for now and using the tactical advance character talent. You should definitely try that talent if you're after a DPS boost as it provides a damage boost of 2% per metre after a cover to cover move. Notice a huge different cutting through NPCs

Yeah I'm still trying to get all 229 in Predator's Mask. Though in 1.3, it was only a dream. I'll have to try the Tactical Advance, these golds are cool. :1_grinning:

@DeadSockPuppet: I think you may be pleasantly surprised.  I had one of the 200% firearms & Stamina as skill power backpacks drop last night.  I don't think hey are that bad to get.  I did however run all the missions, do both underground daily challenges, do two HVTs and buy and open around 40 caches  :1_grinning: .  Not sure which one gave it to me.  I also got the +10% armour if in cover longer than 4s which is also very strong and the 5% skill damage back as health ( @Oh. daesu: my bad it is 5% not 15%).  Unfortunately they were all on backpacks  :31_neutral_face: .

I am currently running the 10% armour after being in cover (it is a cover based shooter after all).  Armour is very strong in 1.4 currently (check out Macrostyles 1.4 armour YouTube vid).  I am also running 3x Tact Auth and 2 other randoms.  I would like to try Strikers again.  If the lag is sorted it should be fairly strong with the LW M4 / LVOA-C and other fast firing guns.

@RimBlock one of the guys in my group got one to drop and he let me have it since he didn't need it.  I also got a pair of savage gloves to drop for my main.

I redid my alt toon, once I got the backpack, with the following:

Gear Set Current:
Vigorous chest - all healing skills give overheal
Specialized pack - bonus of +200% of firearms and stamina in SP
Refreshed mask - healing is improved by 30% when in last segment of health
Tactician's Authority x3
 +10% skill points
 +10% skill haste

Current Weaps:
229 Military G36
229 Military M870
229 First Wave X45

I'm pretty happy with the build and currently run flame turret and bleed sticky bomb.  The 3 perf mods I run are +4% & + 3.5% sticky bomb dmg and +6 or 7% turret health.  I've got a mod for turret duration but my SP regen my skill typically before the turret times out.

I've also got some pulse duration and CHD bonus mods as well as a healing station duration mod.  I'm probably going to get a UG set of 4x reclaimer to go with the vigorous chest and specialized pack.   For that I'll probably switch to healing station/turret or healing station/pulse and go straight support.

I've been tying to figure out where to go with this character from her original tri-shotty build and these two roles should work just fine. The 3x HE/3x TA iteration was tons of fun and tended to be fairly useful.  Granted, it's only been tested on LZ boss farming, but it should work fine in more rigorous combat.  And the reclaimer build for UG should make for a solid support build, based on players I've run with that were using reclaimer.

Seems we are not too far off.  I have just spec'd in to armour a bit more (54% mitigation in WT4 at the moment)  :10_wink: .

The Scar-H is just for DPS Lolz.  Not sure why the Scar, MK17 & Mk 20 are listing up massive DPS at the moment.  Something still a bit wrong with the calc.

I am also trying an MP5 ST as a fallback weapon and it is pretty good with Fierce (+5% crit chance), Vicious (+10% crit chance with 2+ health segments) and self preserved (+5% health back from crits).

last night i tried 4pcs of  Predator's Mark and + 2 Nomad this veru great and i also tried 3pc of Predator's and 3pcs Striker very great and 3pc of Predator's and 3pcs Banshee very in 1.4 update Predator's very compitiable with every build

I think after playing for like 6-8 hrs, I have a full (6 pcs) of all the sets at 229.  As a casual, it's nice to be able to jump on and be like I want to run 2x XX and 4x YY, 3x XX and 3x YY, 2x high end/2x XX/2x XX, etc. without having to spend days farming for missing pieces.  It's been a while since I've played Diablo 3, but I like how the Division has gone that route and allows players to contantly get loot that's just a bit better here or there or pieces that trigger a "hey, what if I do this..." moment.

These changes have made it possible for all players to really get the build they enjoy running and that fits their play style without playing incursions on heroic 80+ times.

I've stoped a couple times to recal for armor, but my backpack that has 10k SP it is the logical spot to recal for armor and I'm not sure if I drop the 10k SP that I'll get an equal return in toughness and mitigation.

Since my character is speced to healing (30% increase in healing when on last health bar and over heal from all healing skills), I think I can get away with not being as tanky.  If I start running into constantly getting downed, I can move to the support mode and roll with the healing station for even more healing for myself and the group.  Finally, if I'm still getting wrecked, I can consider recaling the SP on my backpack to armor for more toughness or pick up 2x AB for the +100 health regen.

Even in 1.3, this toon has been more of an electronics tank that ran more support skills than attack skills.  With 1.4, she's been retooled to embrace this roll even more.

There are three armour HE talents I have seen so far.

  • +10% armour (have this one equiped).
  • +15% armour if in cover for over 4s
I cannot remember the 3rd and have just logged out.  I have an items with it I think and will post it up tomorrow.

Just with the two above.  If you are in cover for 4s then you will get 25% extra armour.

Have just had a bit of a play around with what I have and have added 8k skill, 23k DPS for the marksman rifle (-1k on the M4) and 2.5k toughness.

I'm running 2 builds

3 pc Tacticians, 3 pc firecrest. its a new build for me, but I quite like the turret. I use a shotgun ( still trying to find the best one, any suggestions?) and a LMG with extended mag for suppressive fire. I also run the support station which negates the flamers ( sorry new build, cant remember the name of the support station, its the one with the little pill next to it) I'm really enjoying this build, it allows me to throw out the support station as well as the flamer and camp with my shotty. I have all the talents towards the turret damage and armour set up for cooldowns. the turret stays up for ages and takes a lot of damage ( except for those big beasties who just kick it over). for my guide what a good level of skill power to build to so the cooldowns are quicker?

the other build is 4 piece Alphabridge and 2 piece strikers ( or sentry, depending). nice dps and quick takedown. its a little low on the health though so I need to be careful. straight up damage dealer. with 4 pc AB I run a 229 main weapon with a 182 backup so I get all 6 abilities on all weapons ( 163 weapons only have 2 abilities, not 3 and I don't hit all 6 abilities if I use both 229 weapons). I have a nice matched pair of assault, smg's and marksmans. before 1.4 I chewed through ammo and had to swap weapon sets all the time ( especially in the underground) and at every restock I had to do the whole lonestar, police and firemans back pack switch to get all my ammo. to the annoyance of everyone else in my group, but after 1.4 I have enough ammo ( 1500, assault rifle, 1800 smg etc... ) to not have to wear Lonestar ( switch doesn't work now anyway).

@Little Warfy Go with an M870 for a shotty.  My second (and now favorite) toon used to run 3 shottys - M870, "sausage", and the double-barrel sawed off sidearm.  I tried various different shottys (never got a Showstopper) and while the M870 doesn't always have the best DPS (usually the sausage does), the M870 packs a helluva punch.

From my experience, they tend to be 120-130+k dmg/shot and the stagger is higher.  If you get a sweet one like I found (swift/brutal/deadly) you can merc the crap out of kids.

@Little Warfy if you like running LMG & shotty you might try running 3x or 4x LS for the bonus ammo and bonus LMG/shotty dog and if you can hit 4 the swap to reload.  It's tons of fun to just keep switching weapons and keep sending hot lead down range without reloading.  And it's great to cancel out Waste Not on UG.
