Ah, so the GTA Wildlands update is out next week.  I'll still enjoy it (only finished like 3-4 areas of vanilla) and it will give my toddler new vehicles to drive.  I can't wait to see her rip it up in a monster truck.

I'm excited about the Challenge events...though unfortunately the 15 additional missions are all part of the Narco Road "story line" and the description:

"15 new campaign missions, as well as four new types of side missions and racing challenges, all with the goal of earning fame and followers. The more followers you acquire, the more you’ll ingratiate yourself with the gang bosses"

...I know Ubisoft are known for thinking outside the box, for example with The Division they brought Underground & Survival which are utterly different gaming experiences to the usual game BUT the key thing is they all FIT within the core lore of the game and the setting of the game. Based on the descriptions we have of Narco Road it just sounds like a game of Mafia 3 .... I didn't buy Mafia 3 for the reason it wasn't the game I wanted to play. 

I'm hoping lots of content will be available within the normal game but if its restricted to the DLC and via its gameplay then I'm not going to get any of it.

I'm sure what they're trying to give with Narco Road is some sort of a break from depressing theme of the base game before we are going back to the same theme again in Fallen Ghosts.

It's certainly off theme, however.

Is the DLC we're looking for....Just wish they'd not wasted so much effort on Narco Road.

I'm glad the reward are actually usable items. I was afraid it would be stupid stuff like medals and supplies.

Does anyone know what AR they're showing there? Is it a reskin or new?

Looks like an ACR version, maybe a MAGPUL version (foregrip etc looks like MAGPUL).

I'm guessing for minor tasks you get patches by the looks of it, I'm assuming the rifle is a reward for either the Task Force challenge or community challenge. I'm not really worried about the rewards as much as getting more missions etc to do...because I like that! 

Query though...do you need season pass for access to the Season Challenges. it doesn't actually say and they're not listed as part of the season pass content. I say this because THIS content is worth a season pass in my opinion whilst both DLC's aren't (again, my opinion).

Just watched the season pass trailer again. They didn't say anything about events to be included in Season Pass.

But they did say in the beginning of the trailer that they will bring you new experience post launch with free updates (duh lol since when Update isn't free?), community challenges, seasonal events, and pvp mode.
