So what do you guys think? Which would you roll with? These are all without mods as well.

they are both good, so i would choose the one that i feel the most comfortable using :P there is no right or wrong, as they are almost equal.

Advice ... go to the range and test each one on bullet grouping and how YOU hold the rounds on target. DPM is all about rounds actually on target and though there are weapons which on paper seem to have the same level of stability they often vary a lot regarding accuracy, bullet spread AND stability so you can hold the barrel on target.

The KRISS Vector is likely a better choice at shorter ranges (I "think" .45 APC rounds seem to stagger opponents easier) but the MP5 better for burst firing manually on slightly longer ranges but you ought to test

MP5!! Roll a good clip, the MP5 tend to coil up, making headshottibg easier. You would get more rounds per second in, but 10% special resource gain would be damn near OP for me. I average about 70% headshot kills.  That would be just as good as the Trained talent.

Thanks for the input guys

I rolled that right before bed last night so I haven't had a chance to take them to the range yet, but I definitely will tonight and let you know what I get. @C2L3W1 what do you think the best type of mag for the MP5 would be? I think I have a 102% capacity/13% weapon damage mag that I was using on it before. Wish there was a way to check all of this stuff from work haha

Personally I have found that a high capacity combined with high fire rate works great on SMGs as they have the natural buff to crit hit chance the more rounds I can get down range faster the better. Then for the rest of the attachments I aim for a good combination of crit hit/crit damage/accuracy

Gonna piggyback off this. I used to put my 105%/+ 13% damage on my Smgs, until I figured out I benefit more from rate of fire. The +damage benefit works much better with AR since you can pack more punch in a round, while managing the moderate recoil.

Correct. I currently run a HE AUG with a 93%/+23% RPM boost that absolutely destroys enemies at close range, and the roll for that extended mag isn't even that good. For medium to long range I run my HE Black Market AK, using the weapon damage boost on my mag and crit hit chance boosts for grip and muzzle. Then another thing I have found VERY helpful on my ARs is finding a scope that adds OPTIMAL RANGE. It makes gunning down the Rogues running away from you much easier to drop and you are still doing high damage when they are a half block ahead of you.

What is the base damage of your Aug? And which one do you have?

Fairly certain my base damage of my AUG is around 9400 sorry at work so I can't check for sure. I have been rolling the one that is available from the DZ vendor in safe house 3 or 4 can't remember. I believe it is the "Tactical Aug". I also have my HE Vector ACP. While playing against just PVE I use that because it has the destructive talent with 18% damage to enemy arbor boost.

I got an AK from a Challenge mission about a week ago...never even looked at it. Im totally partial to the Caduceus. I stopped crafting weapons a while back since I figured when we start Operations/Excursions, the weapons and gear will become moot.

Yea I have only really been crafting items that I was able to buy from the Vendor in my Base of Operations as to not waste Division Tech ... The one thing I don't understand is are they going to be making the point of looting moot with this most recent update? I get that the rewards will be better because of the difficulty level to complete it but if someone can get better gear and weapons by doing these than what is the point of the DZ any more?

Agreed. I haven't played DZ in a week. All my gear is already level 31, the only way up from here is Excursion gear. No need in wasting mats if the gear you have is going to be replace. I guess that's why I was confused yesterday with the Massive stream. It was like they were saying some gear will still be better than the Excursion gear, but the raid gear will have an end game perk with all the sets complete. Hopefully it isn't like Destiny's BS where you get faction specific perks that only benefit fights with LMB.

I'm still hunting for some 31 lvl gear on a couple of items but I've found my self going rogue in the DZ a bit more lately as farming the bosses does get a bit boring after a little while and it sure is fun trying to survive a man hunt with a group of 4.

Oh, just craft the level 31 gear from DZ blueprints. You can knock those right out. I might work the DZ this weekend if I can find the right people to run with. I hate not having tactics.

Yea I'm right there with you. TO many of my friends don't seem to understand trying to tank a 32 elite is not the way to go... I'd certainly hit you up with an invite if you were on Xbox

Never been a fan of Xbox. I cant deal with the controller. But there's something about a product that starts and ends with X that rubs me the wrong way. lol
