My luck is terrible

Been grinding away in the DZ and I've still got a long way to go.  I'm currently at lvl 38.  My luck so far with HE drops in DZ is one.  ONE!  from a key chest in DZ1.   I got a HE hand grip mod.  I'm getting real tired of my friends jumping for joy when a gold drops for them and I'm over here....yup...another purple.  It's getting frustrating.  I got a HE AUG drop from the final boss on Amherst Apartment and thats the only HE weapon drop I've gotten to date and it's not like I'm a weekend warrior.  I'm putting in about 2-3 hours a night after everyone in the house goes to bed.  I guess I'll just keep grinding.

Like my late great grandfather used to say.....( sorry if this is offensive)  "It could be raining p*ssies and I'd get hit with a d!ck"

Whiny feeling sorry for myself rant is over.

No BS last night right about when the new daily challenges came online me and 3 buddies went into the DZ and had what had to be either very close or completely empty server. In about 2 hours I was found 7 HE drops and cleared over 120 Phoenix Credits running a loop of about 5-7 bosses. We had ZERO interference from other players and did not have to skip over a landmark or hidden boss the whole time. IT WAS AMAZING lol. 

I have a separate set of gear I run for the DZ that keeps me DPS and Stamina high but also gives me about 193% scavenging. On a normal night I'd say I average about 2 drops in the same 2 hour span.

It might just be coincidence or perception in my head, but I think I have been getting a much higher HE drop rate fighting the DZ05 and DZ06 bosses. I swear when we run the pit there is a HE drop for someone in the group about 20% of the time.

And I had a lot of the same luck as you for a long time. Ran the freaking Bullet King for about 12 hours before I finally got the Caduceus drop. Lately though I have been getting probably 2 or 3 HE drops per day.

It's just a numbers game.

I could be wrong but overall item level of your agent might effect how many High End's you receive in the DZ. the group of 3-4 that I play with has one member who is just behind the curve of everyone else content/gear wise and he seems to receive a substantial amount of HE's a night compared to everyone else in the group. Is every night like this? No. more often than not he ends up with at least 2 more HE's on average.

Also agree with what @TheDarkZone said. simply a numbers game

If you got a HE item to drop out of a key chest in DZ-01 I'd say you're pretty damn lucky. I've been looking for a HE grip mod now for ages. I can't even seem to find anyone selling a blueprint for the one I need (Angled or small) either.

I only saw the vertical grip one there and I actually bought it by accident, crafted it and then realized I wasted 94 PC + division tech. I'll check again tonight though.

you could be very right, and likely are. Higher chance of me not remembering whats there than you being wrong lol.

If that is the case, however, there is no small grip blueprint that I know of, just the handgrip in the b.o.o. and the dz06 vertical.
