MP5 vs The vector.

I bought the MP5-N. I think it cost me 156 PCs, I regretted it almost immediately.
While the MP5 has a much bigger mag, you need it to compensate for the fact it just doesn't put out the DPS like the Vector.
The way I saw it, If it takes you a mag to drop an enemy with the vector then it will take you a mag with the MP5 and you will soon be running out of ammo all the time as you will be using amount double to drop the same enemy.
My Vector has all talents lit up,
Responsive, (13% more damage when 10 meters or closer)
Destructive ( Armour destruction increased by 18%)
Brutal ( Head shot damage increased by 24%)
Saying all that you might like the way it shoots and all of it is about personal preference when it comes to playing.

Yeah my vector is lit too. I've heard mixed things on this but I can't go wrong with my vector. 100k+crit hit is promising

The MP5 just runs out of ammo way quicker and it's due to exactly what was stated above. It just takes longer/more bullets to put down the same enemy as compared to the Vector.

I'll be buying the AUG from the dz03 vendor later today, I'm hoping it's a good upgrade to my Vector. I'll let you all know.

Bummer. I'm not even close to the level needed to purchase. And I love the AUG. So sad I sold my level 30 superior AUG. Damn you, self!

just picked up the Navy MP5 N. i think im liking it better than the vector, the 60 round mag makes a big difference. around the same DPS but dont have to reload as often

Like I said, its all really about personal preference. For me my MP5-N is about 15k behind my Vector in DPS. (If you believe the numbers)

I am currently asking myself the same. I am level 30 (133 gear level) and just hit level 30 in the DZ as well. I only have 115 or so PxC so I am trying to figure out what my first blueprint purchase should be. So far, I am leaning towards the HE Vector at the BoO.
I am not sure if it is an upgrade either, but I really like the Aug and I will be purchasing the BP today as well.

This is an upgrade, I went from 185k dps with the Vector to 228k with the Tactical AUG A3P

Heard very good things about the Vector, never crafted or used one personally (At a High-End level anyway)
Bonus Headshot/ Armor Destruction/ Bonus Crit Dmg would be pretty solid.
I think in the right hands an MP5 and a Para AUG could perform just as well honestly.

My roll was as follows
Accurate: Accuracy is increased by 47%
Brutal: Headshot damage is increased by 24.5%
Provident: The last bullet in your magazine deals 57% bonus damage.
I will roll again when I have more mats although for now this is good as they are all lit
