Just started daily missions etc.

So I just recently hit level 30 and started doing dailies and replaying the general assembly mission for loot.  I have 2 questions at the moment.  I've seen quite a few references to people getting bonuses on their equipment towards taking down armor on enemies.  I haven't seen this anywhere.  Is it on guns or gear?  And what do I specifically look for?  Also, I haven't found any HE gear yet.  Is it only available in the DZ?  The Dailies (On Hard) and replaying the general assembly mission have only been giving me purple items.  I assume you also get HE gear by doing challenge mode but my stats aren't quite ready for that yet from what I've heard.

You can also craft HE gear.

You need to run the daily missions on Challenge in order to be guaranteed any kind of HE loot drop.

As for the damage against armor, there is a talent on some guns that has it. You can also find it on gear or gear mods. It usually is only a 1-2% bonus on purple gear and gear mods.

You buy them from the special vendor in your base of operations and from the dz vendor in DZ06!

@shootinxs76 if youre looking to up your drop rate you can always invest in some recalibration. head over to your recal station and start rolling your gear for a high er "scavenging" rating. The higher scavenging you have the better chance of decent loot. Nothing replaces grinding but it can help.
