    July 12th - Maintenance

Here is the list of changes to be implemented with the July 12th maintenance:

    • Reduced the base damage of all G36 Assault Rifles by 15%.
    • Fixed a bug where named weapons could not have their talents recalibrated.
    • Fixed a bug where the Megamap would not open for some players.
    • Fixed a bug where using the Evacuation Point in Underground before the new Objective Notification has appeared caused the mission UI to break.
    • Fixed a bug where the AlphaBridge Gloves could miss some of their attributes. Note: this change is retroactive, which means that all attributes on existing AlphaBridge Gloves will be rerolled.
    • Fixed a bug where the game music would stop completely when logging out while inside an Incursion.
    • Fixed a bug where recalibrating the last Talent on the PP-19 submachinegun would not yield a free Talent.
    • Fixed a bug where the Sentry Gear Set bonus would incorrectly apply when using The Showstopper automatic shotgun.
    • Fixed a bug where using a Signature Skill could cause the visual effect to be applied to all nearby players (not just group members).
    • Fixed a bug where weapon talents could stack indefinitely while using the Alpha-Bridge Gear Set 4-piece bonus.
    • Fixed a bug where recalibrating weapon talents would yield a random bonus, instead of the one selected in the UI.
    • Fixed a bug where players would die when returning to certain missions after respawning in a safe house.
    • Fixed a bug where PC players would be able to use multiple consumables at the same time.

Looks like my build is going to get pooped on with this G36 nerf. Do I need to subtract 15% from my current DPS to work out what I will have after the update? Will my firearms score change too?? I hope not as I'd only just unlocked all the talents on my guns! :(

Knew it was coming but ... 15%?!? That's a LOT ... time to break out the firearms mods to boost DPM again.

I'm hoping this is the "constantly dying when on certain S&D missions against LMB as the game thinks you've fallen through the map" ... and might fix the similar falling through map when using elevators on certain missing agent traces.

Should not effect your firearms mate just your base damage on the weapon. The drop in DPS is hard to calculate due to attachments etc. If it is -15% of your current DPS you will be looking at around 52k loss

its 15% off the base DPM and at least now the UI is simple to see such things as it shows base DPM always and a seperate calculation for attachments etc and their boost should stay the same.

So a G36 with a base of 85k DPM will will be 72k base DPM and you will add modifiers for attachments from that.

The nerf is "Reduc[ing] the base damage of all G36 Assault Rifles by 15%".  You would have had to look at the DMG number when you look at the gun and reduce that by 15%.  Since DMG is one of many factors in DPS, it might not be exactly a straight 15% off of DPS.

RIP my GS204 G36.

"You had your time. You were very strong" - said nobody ever.
RIP my three G36s (all 229s).

15% seem a lot. Surely 5 - 10% would seem fairer? My primary G36 is running at 220k DPS and base damage of about 12.5k. This nerf will leave me at 187k and 10.7k respectively. On a positive note I've been accumulating other ARs so I've got an AK-47, an LVOA-C and an M4 to choose from, all with superior base damage.

Post- update edit: This has really pissed me off. My actual stats are slightly lower than predicted. ?

Another thing I just wanted to mention about the sheet dps for the g36. I think they are severely over inflated due to the last talent, the one that increases your dps when no skills are on cool down. Most of the time I have one skill or another on cooldown. Anyway I switched out of my G36 last night before the patch to a Lightweight M4 and that thing is far better than the G36 was eventhough on paper it was a 40k dps loss.

When I heard nerf I thought 10%, I agree that 15% is way too much, sorry you got screwed.  I was "lucky" enough to never get a G36 that I used, aside from when I was power leveling my alt and she was like 26-30.

My main carries a 204 LVOA-C (swift/deadly/fierce) which is pretty sweet and a 204 tactical MK16 (vicious/brutal/destructive) which is tits.  I keep hoping to get 2 more pieces of AB and I'll run those guns together and melt people.  I'd love to swap swift for self-preserved or ferocious, but I had a worse second talent that I swapped and got deadly.

I've got at least four ARs (other than my three G36s) that I could use but I'm not quite comfortable with any of them.

I think we need another lengthy session of farming weapons in the DZ.

From Ubisoft's page about the July 14th update/patch:

"Modified PvP weapon damage modifier so players will deal about 20% more weapon damage to each other (note that this change does not impact skill damage)"

Still thinking you want to try to avoid the rogues and work the DZ for weapons?

Yea. The DZ is still the best place for gear drops. If we stick to DZ5/6 we should be OK. The arsehats seems to favour 1-3.

That's typically what I've tried to do.  Although the last couple times I've tried that my group got jumped at the rooftop extraction and then trolled by the rogues until we left the DZ and I was part of an 8-man group that kept getting harassed by a bunch of tankticians running sticky bomb until the group fell apart and we left the DZ.
