So it seems there are still some bugs flying around.

Oh I'm hitting some bugs myself. Similar to yours, last night I was in UG ... in the lobby area and fell through the raised floor the other side of the room from the UG vendor. For some reason my character didn't climb up the single step to the raised platform and ... ooopppppsss

Also getting quite a few instances where I have a red reticule and I'm shooting the guy but nothings happening at all except me expending ammunition. I think its server side issues miscalculating where interposing cover is and I might be hitting some outcrop of a clipping plain on some post or something but my side doesn't see it.

Has 1.4 landed? I thought we had it already. Haven't played in well over a month so might consider dragging myself away from Gears 4 to see what's changed.

@Big Grumper it has dropped and the game plays more like I think Massive intended it to.  There's still some issues and things to fix, but the positive changes far outweigh the problems.  Many of the frustrating bugs and glitches have been fixed and the reworking of loot drops and NPC AI is great.  I was just thinking today that I wondered if you'd ever be coming back.  

If you do decide to come back and you haven't been following SotG and the tweaks and changes that were made in the PTS, I suggest you read the patch notes.  Fair warning, they'll probably take about 30-40 min to read, but it really is pretty much a new game.  Here's a link to the notes:

Yup. Play it this feels like a finished and fully balanced game now...even with some minor bugs still in there it just "feels" like a polished game finally.

Had Massive delayed the release until maybe June/July and released it at 1.4 quality, it would have been epic.

Faye Lau is back... still beat up dammit! 

She was gone for a good whilst in my game since 1.4 and I HOPED they'd return her mended perhaps...pfft! 

I'm still enjoying 1.4 hugely, this is the game I thought I was buying when I bought it. I ought to get back to my Alt-toons now and see how levelling from zero-30 compares now. All that said I'm really excited waiting for the next DLC.

I HAVE NOT PLAYED BATTLEFIELD 1 SINCE THIS PATCH DROPPED!

I've played BF1 since the patch dropped but I'm still leveling a 3rd toon (created in 1.4 and he's at lvl 12).   The 1-30 feels better than it did the first two times.  While the loot is low level, I feel that just like end game the loot is level appropriate.  Good luck on the new toon and have fun.

I'll try and get on this week. I've been playing loads of Horde so I'm ready for more third-person co-operative action. ?
