How can I use the sights I pick up for weapons?

I picked up an EOTech Holographic Sight for my M4 in the game. But I can't figure out how to look through the sight to see the holographic reticle on the enemy. Surely you must be able to look down the sights of your weapon or a holographic sight would be pointless to attach. I know you can look through the scope of a rifle. But I'm not talking about that. I'm just talking about red dot sights. Please help!

Thanks

You cannot look though holographic sights or down iron sights, only acog and sniper rifle scopes.

Before you equip the item look at your current dps value. It will show a lower number in red or a higher number in green to signify whether it will help or hurt you.

FYI: Accuracy/Stability do not increase weapon DMG. It may say it does but it is lying to you. Look for attachments that have critical hit dmg or weapon dmg.

Right, but they can increase accuracy, which if you can aim you'll do more damage. But yeah, you'll want to find items that increase critical hit chance and critical damage, those will serve you best

If you have a red dot or acog you can hold tab while right clicking. It will zoom in a tad and will completely scope in with anything 4x higher.
