It's gear score 490.

Not happy about there not being matchmaking for this. I don't like it in Destiny either.

I get that there might be a lot of coordination and communication needed and that is harder with random players versus a group of gaming friends, but that should be our choice.

We had matchmaking for the Incursions in the first game. There wasn't a big outcry about it being a problem.

They basically just gated 90% of the player base from entering the raid.

Yes, I know there are LFG's options out there and ways to get around it, but it doesn't change the fact that there will be a hell of a lot less people entering the raid today than there would have been.

Maybe it's a buggy mess and that was their intention. This initial wave will be the beta testers before they fix it and open it up to matchmaking.
I'm not happy with it either.

Division 2 Raid Guide: How to Beat The Razorback in Dark Hours from GameRant.com

image.png

It was a big week for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 as Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment released Title Update 3, a massive list of quality of life changes, big fixes, and new features. In addition to bug fixes and balancing, the update introduces another new cosmetic Dark Hours event as well as the first two Classified Assignments called the Fall of DC. These small story missions are available for Year 1 pass owners and provide additional context for how Washington D.C. fell apart in the wake of the viral outbreak.

Division 2 Raid Guide: How to Beat Lucy and Buddy in Dark Hours from GameRant.com

image.png

As part of the new Division 2 raid, Operation Dark Hours, players will have to face with some tough bosses in four separate encounters, including Big Boomer, the Triple Threat, the Double Dogs (Buddy and Lucy), and The Razorback. To beat the Double Dogs encounter, players will want to coordinate in order to take both Buddy and Lucy, two powerful Warhounds, down. Players will want to know going into the encounter that Buddy is the healer and Lucy has the highest DPS.

The Division 2 Raid Beat in 20 Minutes on PC from GameRant.com.

image.png

The Division 2‘s first raid, Operation Dark Hours, is out now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. After its launch, the World’s First clear took approximately 5 hours on PC, with players working consistently to improve those numbers over the past few days. This is in direct contrast with the console experience, as the final Razorback Boss reportedly took the first Division 2 team to beat it on console 20 hours itself. Bloodshy, Inkist, Tico79, Jaqev, Hansome Lancer, Prime minister, I’m Bats, and H2K Predator then have the honor of being World’s First on a console.

The Division 2 Raid Beat on Console Finally from GameRant.com.

image.png

After 36 hours it has finally been done: a Division 2 team on console has beat the new Operation Dark Hours raid. The feat was first confirmed by a Division 2 player and member of the raid team on forums and later supported by the in-game leaderboards. Reddit user Inkist revealed his team’s accomplishment on the Division 2 subreddit on Saturday afternoon. He, alongside players named Bloodshy, Tico79, Jaqev, Handsome Lancer, AZPrimeminister, I’m Bats, and H2K Predator was able to complete Operation Dark Hours on PS4, making them the first team to do so on console. There is also at least one team that beat it on Xbox One in about 17 hours of total playtime.

but, going in for a multi-hour raid, this reminds me of the olden days with EverQuest!

The Raid feature will not be used that often unless they get and make workable matchmaking.

Gene it's a pain in the butt playing The Division 2 on this raid. That's why I quit this game for awhile & now playing Rage 2.

The Division 2’s Best DPS Build for the Dark Hours Raid from GameRant.com.

image.png

Many The Division 2 players are trying to finish the raid, which is proving to be extremely difficult. Operation Dark Hours has proven to be a competent endgame activity, throwing ample challenge at players. Players’ experience is a bit of a mixed bag, with the raid being especially difficult on consoles, while other teams on PC are now basically speedrunning the raid at this point. While there are multiple builds available to get through the raid, this build that comes via YouTuber WiLLiSGaming is an effective build that focuses on pure DPS.

Locking the Raids behind a Clan wall is very disappointing.  Other challenging content is not restricted in such a way on both TD1 and 2.

Stolen Signal is my least favorite Incursion in TD 1 but it is more to do with the last phase where you pretty much need 3+ people running a tanky shield build to deflect the miniguns and coordination between them as to who covers what.  Whilst I have completed this with randoms the pass rate is not very high.

Dragons Nest on Heroic is also pretty doable with randoms.  Even though you have two buttons that need to be pushed at the same time at 4 different points in the last room, more often than not I get a positive outcome.

We did capital hill heroic with 3 clan members and 1 random and it was not too bad.  The occasional callout the random could not hear but no regimented coordination.  Same with the Tidal Basin on heroic with 4 clan members.  Coordination was not really needed most the time even though the mission was pretty hard at the last battle with the multiple one shot dogs and exploding drone spam.

With the Clan organising raids on evenings UK time (which is understandable as the majority of membership is based around there and, I am guessing, US), it means me in Asia cannot join as it would be around 3am my time which locks me out and the only way to get to play is to leave the clan and join another... which also uses English in Asia .  Maybe a AU or NZ Clan may work but like the clan I am currently in.

I appreciate I am very much an outlier in my situation and location but it is still pretty frustrating.

Getting a bit bored of the Endgame so was hoping this would keep it fresh.  Found myself longing for a Survival like experience over the weekend.
