So I've spent the past weekend grinding towards 260k DZ funds to purchase the new Blueprint in DZ03 vendor and I got to thinking, I purchased the AUG last week and already have a fairly good role on my gear score 182 Vector, so what is the difference between the two? That being the First Wave and the one from the special gear vendor from when the game launched? Are the mods different or what?

The First Wave is the one that requires DZ Lvl 75? Do you have to be that level just to buy it, or just in order to craft it / use it?

Correct you have to be level 75 in the DZ to purchase the blueprints. Cannot purchase at all if not the correct DZ rank.

I grinded to get that bp and was disappointed. Even my rank 163 aug is better. I wish i got the aug bp, but missed out. Hopefully they bring it back.

Ill post mine later, only piece of my set im missing is the vest. Im running three striker and two sentry. Im on the fence about going 4 striker or doing 3 of each.
I'm working towards 75 now for this vector...But I will not replace mine unless it's significantly better

It depends. The Aug has a slightly bigger mag, a slower fire rate, a longer reload time, and the damage is nearly equal on both. The Aug can handle a bit more range, and that might mean better for some, but if you intend to fight close anyway, the Vector can be just as good or better.
