Honestly I'm probably gonna play it casually, I am unfortunately too busy to binge play it. Everyonce in a while I may get the chance to and I will surely take that opportunity.

Ofcourse you'll be able to enjoy it at a casual pace. I'm going to take it all in when the game gets fully released and look in every nook and cranny for easter eggs, lore objects, crafting materials.

When you say 'hardcore' I think about people who rush to lvl 30, spend days in the DZ afterwards and then complain there ain't enough content.

agreed, thats the first thing that pops in my head as well when the word "hardcore" gets thrown around. in too much of a rush just to try to be the first to level cap, missing out on the experience just for bragging rights. then when they have nothing left to do in 3 days, they bitch/whine/moan/complain/cry. not worth it, and not to mention a waste of money imo. Games are meant to be fun, enjoyed, experienced. not rushed through then tossed aside ..so if me being called a casual because i like to take my time and experience the entire game and enjoy it..then im guilty as hell :)

Games are addicting keep in mind and sometimes once you pop, you just cant stop. It that's the case and you end up sitting there all day playing one game, not rushing through it, but just really really enjoying, I wouldn't consider that rushing through it but I certainly wouldn't consider that casual. Maybe we should create a name for someone who plays way more than casually but still is taking their time and exploring every nook and crannny and enjoying the game. I was going to compare playing a good game to making love but I would just get super super graphic.

How about 'enthusiast'?

With a wife, job, 3 month old and 10 year old I'll be playing casually hardcore or as I like to call it Casualcore.

I know I'll binge a bit in the beginning. My wife and I are coming up with a schedule for my streaming and I'll set the alarm for some early morning sessions on the weekend.

Oh man, she's gonna make a schedule for you! *whipped sound*

I'm just messin comrade, I have respect for your respect of your wife.

Haha! She's pretty good with my gaming. I generally wait until she starts getting the little one ready for bed as I am not equipped to help as I don't have any      ( . )( . )

She's also supportive of my streaming so I should have 4 night per week to game/stream and some early mornings if I choose to.

Well sounds like you got a keeper there bud, grats on that.

I am on the casual side.  This makes running through the story missions on co op kind of difficult.  You have to find somebody on that exact mission at the exact time you play.

The Division definitely seems like it can be played on a Casual Level, but I and definitely taking the no-lifer/hardcore to the max route as I do with most games :)
I'm sure you aren't alone there. When it drops I'll probably play for a couple days straight, I ain't gonna lie.

I'll probably binge as much as possible (work and life allowing) for the first week or 2, then settle down into a good routine, an hour or 2 every couple days. But, I can guarantee that I will be playing long-term

What is nice is I think you will be able to make this game whoever you want it to be. For me personally, this will be the first game I will have the launch day completely off to just play.

If there are Raids, then I think there will be more of a Hardcore factor, but there are so many things you can do casually, you can even do DZ casually if you know what you are doing.

That is what is so intriguing about this game, just flip on the game and just get lost

I wish I could claim otherwise, but I'll definitely go hardcore. But that aside, of course this game could be played casually. I know people that will probably put less than ten or twelve hours a week (most of that on weekends) and I think, if anything, they might even get a strange sort of benefit from taking it slow.

I think the game will apply to both. a casual player will be able to get to max level in time to jump on when they can and enjoy alone or with friends and others (probably me) can spend 10 hours a day on it over the weekend getting the exactly perfect armour stats perks and weapons they are searching for to min max stats.

Looking to be a game everyone can enjoy
