Encrypted Caches

Seems to me like a loot box styled thing, even the way they open is very similar to that. Just that they need keys, which is more TF2 / Counter Strike themed. It's all cosmetic too, right? I mean, seems fun if the cosmetics were or are stuff you wouldn't usually or normally be able to option. I'm a fan of cosmetics and customization, so I'm digging it.

I added a video last week regarding and showing the Encyrpted Caches on my channel and in the website Videos section of the forums.

They're all cosmetic items, its very similar to BF1's battle packs which add skins for guns etc. Again, all the dev teams seem to be running practically the same "theme" on these items and I can't remember who was first to be honest! haha!

Anything that gets me premium vanity items without me having to spend real money is awesome in my book. Proof though will be exactly how much work you have to put in to get enough fragments to make the keys! PTS isn't a good indicator to be honest.

That's the key, literally.  You can get key fragments in in-game content to get these caches free or you can buy the caches with real money, which is why they're only vanity items.  When Massive introduced microtransactions they said they'd never make the game pay-to-win, otherwise I would have probably dropped the game.
