I'm hoping someone can give me advice or at least let me know what to do.  after I got my G36 I got the DPS 275K  less then 12 hours later my DPS dropped  to 229K, when I logged back on a few hours later it was at 231K. the next day it was at 198K so I added all firearm mods with 1.50% crit to my gear got it back to 223K, as of now it is at 208K.  most of my gear is firearms (3900 firearms). through all of this I did not change any thing except add more firearm mods. my Aug. 191K and X45 pistol 186K has not changed DPS at any time.  it is very frustrating especially being use to high DPS. if anyone has the same problem or knows what is happening please leave a comment 

 
The G36s have had two recent nerfs, one public and one ninja.  

Massive made it know when the G36 released with 1.3 that somehow it got passed the QA with a base damage that was too high.  In order to fix it, they announced that they would nerf the gun DMG to the correct/intended level.  When this nerf went live, they ended up nerfing the base DMG by 15%. 

When that nerf went into effect, users noticed that their DPS dropped by more than 15% and the gun appeared to have some minor stability issues.  When the public cried foul, Hamish Bode dug into the complaints and determined that the devs nerfed the gun's stability and didn't make it known to the public (ninja nerf).  

My guess is that it's a combination of these factors that is causing your problem, especially since your AUG and X45 are unaffected.  However, if you think the recent nerfs aren't to blame, post your info and concern on the Ubi Divsion Forums and see if the team has anything to say.  

 
thanks for the post.......well I switched back to the Aug and I'm losing DPS with that as well tried switching to 1 or 2 weapon slot same issues, increased it to 225 dps  waited 10 mins checked it again dropped to 179k dps.

 
I'm assuming youre looking at the PRIMARY gun's DPS.  For some reason, when highlighted, that can sometimes show false numbers on dps and toughness.

 
Ugh the DPS calculator is so inaccurate. I focus crit chance and damage and it doesn't even reflect that. Annoys the hell out of me

 
What I have noticed is that the DPS numbers in the inventory screen are also affected by buffs / nerf currently applied to your character.  Go to the armoury and check your DPS then pulse and check again.

What I have also seen is that it sometimes gets confused with gear buffs and swapping a gear piece for another and then swapping back again will also give different DPS to the original number.

Bottom line.  Use it as a rough guide only and then keep the weapon that 'feels' best within a set DPS range.

My G36 just seems to keep going down and down with DPS numbers.  SO much so I have switched to a LVOA-C with a rate of fire mod on it now and feel it is much better for my playing style.

 
LVOA-C is my go-to close range AR on my primary.  I typically engage from distance with my Tac MK16, because the slower rate of fire makes it a bit more accurate and it hits a little harder than my LVOA-C.  Can't wait to get my 3rd and 4th pieces of AB so I can run these two guns with swift, deadly, fierce, vicious, brutal and destructive.  

 
Even with the nerfs I'm still using my G36, though it's noticeably weaker. I'm also using an ACR for mid-range encounters and my SOCOM M1A for distance.

I ran with my G36 for a whole after the nerfs and it is still good, better than my LVOA-C 'on paper' but I just love being able to throw over 1k RPM at a charging 'Heroic' shotgunner and have a good chance to take them down in a single mag, with an even chance of killing them before they kill me (it is usually very close either way).  It also tends to be better for pop-up --> burst --> cover type engagements.

I tend to have my LVOA-C and primary, Para SVD as secondary, sometimes switch to my SAG for close up work and pistol for quick sentries tagging if needed (big mag and fast fire rate).  My pistol is rated at 166DPS and my SVD is only around 155DPS  :31_neutral_face: .  I have 3 M1As which I may try again but just love the SVD and the M1As talens are not propped now I have moved more to a tanky build and get my skill power from mods / equipment.

 
I have to say that "something" has happened in the last 48hrs.

As of Tuesday I revised my build and stated in the share your build " my toughness to 280k but at the cost of reducing Primary DPS down to 135k as it was the only way I could retain my Skill Power above 30k"

Last night I log in, I have not changed anything, and whilst my Toughness and Skill Power is exactly the same my Primary DPS has dropped to 117k!?! Same gun, same mods, same set up.

I went on to check in the range and my hit figures were accordingly low. Where as I was hitting Crits at 31k I was only hitting Crits of 29k ... same gun, same set up. So not a UI glitch.

Thoughts?

 
This is like the Weeping Angels.  Every time you turn away, when you look back the scene has changed regardless of what you are being told.

Anything in any patch notes for this week (no access to UBI forums from work) ?.

Fixed a bug where containers in the highest gear score Dark Zone bracket would drop blue quality Division Tech.
Fixed a bug where some AlphaBridge gear set gloves would roll double primary stats if they have been recalibrated.
Fixed a bug where the player would be teleported back to the safe house during Tatiana Atkins Missing Persons mission.
Fixed a bug where the player would be teleported back to the safe house during Aaron Keener Missing Agent mission.

Here are the list of changes to be implemented with the July 22nd maintenance.
Fixed an issue that allowed players to benefit from the DeadEye 4 set bonus while retaining their headshot damage. This fix also resolves the issue where players were able to stack bonus headshot damage indefinitely.

Of course don't forget the game amendments they "ooppss...we forgot to tell you that, must be an admin issue, we'll work harder with our communication in future" ... lol!

I think with the "share my build" thread we have a better opportunity to spot these things, though this now leaves my build really ineffective even in a support role as I need to put some decent DPS down range on Challenge runs. 

Back to the parts bin (Stash) to see what I have that hasn't been nerf'ed yet (a 204 Liberator or LVOAC would be nice about now...must get blueprints!)

This also seems to be affecting skill power.  I have chnged my gear around a bit and now have 420k tougjness and 39k skill.  If i check someinmes it will show 32k skill.  If i remove and put the backpack back on it jumps back to 39k...
