DPS Glitch on G36

So recently I got a G36 Enhanced from an underground mission and I've been using it with ease for a while now, but I started noticing that my gun feels like it's doing a lot less damage at certain times, i.e; when I start missions or engage in combat. When this happens, I have a look at my primary DPS (which is supposed to be 204,000) and it says 179,000 which puts me at a unbearable advantage. This doesn't happen with any over gun, and urgently need answers on why this is happening and how to fix it.

Thanks, Luke.

I did a quick scan of the known issues on Ubi's forum and didn't see anything.  However, they're planning to nerf the damage for the G36 soon, so maybe they'll figure out this issue and fix it at the same time.

My 2 G36's damage seems to fluctuate from day to day even in the inventory screen.  One went from 250k to 230k in a day with no other changes to my character.

I currently like how they play and it will be a shame when they get nerf'd.

I see there are three G36's... is there an order to how powerful they are supposed to be? How do they go in order, from worst to best... is it:

Military G36 < G36 C < Enhanced G36?

The Enhanced G36 I picked up last night didn't have as good base DPS as my G36C (5k difference). I didn't check if this fluctuated much talents but I put the same mods on as from my G36C and the DPS still was short.

So I'm unclear if the names mean much.

i got all 3 of them...

G36 Enhanced :  Damage 12.5k / Armor Damage 19%

Military G36 :  Damage 12.3k / Armor Damage 21%

G36C :  Damage 11.6k / Armor Damage 18%

RPM, mag size is the same.

acc, reload speed, range and stability are also the same.

That is weird because I had a 204 C and Enhanced and the C had the higher DPS. But then I got a 229 Military so ditched the other two.

I've experienced this many times, you're not alone!

SIDE NOTE!

Does anyone know how much the G36 is getting nerfed? I've heard gun being nerfed by 10% but I don't know if this is damage on gun or DPS.

10% sounds right, but I don't remember where I read it, and it should be just on DMG, which ultimately affects DPS too.

I don't believe they've been 100% clear on what exactly they're doing to nerf it, but I do know that it will just be a base damage nerf like the AUG and Vector were.

Hi,

I have my little idea...
Don't you have "competent" talent on your G36 ? If so, when you're not reloading a competence, you have a 14% damage bonus...
That's why, when you look at your DPS when you are idle, you are 200k DPS.

But when you start a mission, you probably one of your competence  (pulse or somewhat), and loose this 14% bonus... That's why you drop to 170k DPS...
If you want to be sure, look at your DPS when competence reloaded. Then launch a competence and look again ;)

I'm french so I don't know if I have been clear in my explanations... I hope this will helps :)
