I've got the new update being on Xbox but I didn't get the season pass or anything.  I been thinking about purchasing the season pass but was wonder how many DLC's there are going to be.  Buying them separately would be more expensive. So I was just going to belly up and buy the pass.  Any suggestions?

There are 3 updates (DLC) planned for this year which are covered by the season pass.  I like the Underground and it can be done solo or in a team depending on the level chosen and your stats / gear.

The scope of the Underground is very large but as to how quickly it will become boring is difficult to answer at the moment.  The levels are not wildly unique but are not the same.  They just have the same common elements placed in different orders on the map.

The quality of visual detail is on a par with the Manhattan streets (i.e. extremely good) and I have not seen any major DLC specific bugs (a few with not being able to jump over the occasional object is all I have seen).

I am fairly glad I have the season pass.  This DLC is pretty good for my play interest (PvE / Cooperative).

Depends how much you like the game, I have the season pass and can't wait for the DLC throughout the year, currently heard nothing but positives from the new underground DLC and don't forget that this game is forever changing and evolving, if you see yourself playing this game consistently for a year or so then I would definitely buy the season pass

Depends on a few things:

Do you expect this game to be constantly "fresh" even if you play hours and hours per week? Simply put, I don't know many games like that based on Content alone ... what makes games like this (MMORPG's) fresh each time you play are the players you play alongside, how they (if they) role play a little, or take things seriously, or are just fun to play alongside.

I think a lot of the .... negative feedback .... of this game is from players expecting the game to give them everything and be everything and hand it all to them on a plate ready to microwave.

The Underground adds significant PvE material for you and easily many hours of varying gameplay. Each "dungeon" is built from a set number of pre-generated rooms (likely there are 10-20 different ones) very much like a table-top D&D game using room tiles. Then each section is linked together reasonbly randomly (you cant have true randomness in a video game purely to restrict glitching etc) and then the whole dungeon is populated with "monsters" in a unified manner (So its a Rikers dungeon, or Cleaners dungeon etc).

Then each group leader can remove HUD or other items to make things more interesting or harder. Doing this directly impacts the TYPE and quality of rewards received at the end of a dungeon.

The party wipes you have to start from the beginning! There are some, not many rewards to collect as you progress through (except when levelling up) but I found the rewards on completion pretty good to be honest!

Cashe's are good as well.

I'm loving it, although early stages, and would recommend.

First of all, you should ask yourself by reflecting on the current situation of the game. Do you enjoy it? Do you like how the dev been treating it?

If yes, then buy.

If no, then wait. At least until the second DLC comes up. See how they play, they work, etc.

I play primarily on PS4 so I have to wait...however, I did install the latest update yesterday around 1pm on PC.

Since then, I've been walking towards the Underground Terminal from the BoO.  Almost there now.

hope fully if you do buy it you will have better luck than me and a lot more players I have just had a look at the ubi forum still no solution and I  am still having a problems bringing up the map and not having a map means no play, this has been going on since the update I have not been able to play my first agent, luckily I have  a second but I will reach level 30 tonight after that I have read that it will be a no go with that one till  this map bug is sorted and looking at the forum they don't seem to be in any hurry !!!!!

After the patch I had an issue with the map.  I spawned in by Falcon lost and pressing the map key (i'm on PC) would only bring up the Falcon Lost start menu.  I had to run quite some way until the map key finally brought up the actual map.  Accessing the map from the menu also made no difference.

Wherever you are, try running to one of the incursions (obviously not the one you could be standing at) and on the way, try the map key every so often.

Hope this helps to fix it for you.

Thanks guys for the advice. I ended up buying the season pass and so far am really liking the new dlc.  Underground has been a refreshing change and has helped me level up a bit. I really like the different phases and hopefully the bugs will be fixed soon.
