Ok Dark Zone has to be one of the most polished intense PvE experience yet, right?
After resolving my net issues, when I finally got playing; almost immediately I was gunned down by a rogue. Later when I went hunting for the rogue, mid battle he changed his status making me the rogue agent! My death was swift as I put up no resistance.
So now with renewed vigour i start of on a simpler section. Immediately stepping out I found myself face to face with a lvl 18 gunner vs ryker fight. When it was all over, me and my trusty turret (i call him the Punisher <3) took down the lone gunner remaining.
Unfortunately, this attracted the attention of a horde and I escaped through the underground tunnel.
By now i was packing quite a bit and was on the verge of lvl 13 so I decided to safely extract my stuff. But my path was blocked by a gang of snipers. It had a named elite and everything.
It was tense as i waited for their move and they for mine. Every bullet counted. Finally it was only me and one other. But the gunfight got some lvl 13 chargers!
I died.
Now I came back to gety loot but there was a gang of lvl 17 pyros and my path was cut short.
Now I had no idea where my loot was. But i knew that I was headed for extraction. I tiptoed around the map, letting punisher take the heat and making a hasty retreat.
Finally I was there.
I shot the signal from a truck. As expected I was rushed. But they came for both sides! By the time I was done the chopper had already left..
But I wasn't about to give up. i shot the signal one more time and then hid in a nearby tower. I scout came and with him another rogue agent! I let them duel it out.
15 secs read the timer. The rogue was hunting. There were blue and green loot beacons. He took it and after another round left. 7 remaining.
I deployed Punny and began my extraction. There was 10 secs to departure. I saw the rogue go down nearby.
Post haste I collected his loot too and extracted it in the nick of time.
I had extracted 16 items alone.
10/10 will do it again
