The DarkZone isn't what I expected, I thought it was suppose to be PvP, but instead it's nothing but computers. I find it annoying that whenever I turn a corner there's a level 30 computer just sitting there waiting.

*sighs*

From now on, read the darn news about a game or play the damn beta...they had 2 betas and it's been plastered everywhere that there were going to be high level AI and players there...

The DZ changes almost every time I go into it. If you are bored of shooting the lvl 30's, head north. Better yet, team up with some mates and start a man hunt!

well of course there are NPC's in the Dark zone. they are a necessity  to help you gain DZ rank. if it was only PvP, no one would ever progress..gain a level killing a rogue, lose a level or more being killed as rogue. go up a couple of ranks, only to lose those you gain by getting killed and being killed as a rogue , and on and on and on, it would be like running on a treadmill and not going anywhere.  if you want to find more people in the DZ just start at the bottom of the zone and work your way up. if you still cant find anyone, leave the zone and re-enter, you will be in another instance of the DZ.  you have to remember, there arent thousands of people on a server in this game..only 24 per server, and not all of them are going to be in the DZ at one time.

Yeah hopefully. I'm excited about what will be done. I think the dark zone is amazing. Do I think the penelty for dying is too high, yea but it's a game..bit about to get bent out of shape over it.
exactly ..its just a game. a hobby. nothing to cry over. i wish more people like you played this game lol

Yeah but there's a difference between a straight pvp and not seeing another human for a couple of hours in the DZ.
well, there are reasons for that right now...first of all you have to remember there arent thousands of players per server in this game..only 24 players. with Daily's and challenge missions to run, there wont be all 24 per server in the DZ at one time. and the state of the DZ is a put off to some right now. the game is only 2 weeks old..there are bound to be growing pains..

I am totally enjoying this game for what it is,I read up on it so I knew what I was in store for. I strictly play fps so this is my first rpg.  I am suprised at all the negative reviews,I play on ps4 and its been pretty smooth for me. Yeah the death penalty is too high, but it gives a nice intense feeling for me. Most games are die respawn die respawn repeat. Ive never wanted to stay alive in a game so bad lol. Maybe its cause I turn 40 in April that I appreciate where gaming is today.

Exactly, that high penalty for dying to an NPC is what makes it so intense. I'm either emptying clips or running for my life. Cause dying in this game has some real weight to it.
