Dark Zone Vendors

Hey

So far i'm really enjoying the game, it's awesome.

So I leveled up to level 16, and went into the dark zone, but all the vendors require a dz rank of 30 to buy anything, all of them... So after struggling with some really buffed up NPC's i got to a DZ rank of 8 and still cant buy anything with the different vendors. So anyone else experience this ?

They have buffed up the DZ a whole lot since the open beta it seems

well, in the beta, the highest level you could get to was level 8 and DZ rank of 10 i believe. you are now level 16, so the lower level DZ gear you encountered in beta is no longer available to you. i haven't been in the DZ yet, but its weird that you cant get level 16 gear, kinda hard to imagine they just have low level and max level gear. have you gone to every safe house vendor?

I felt this way too at first but as I made my way up to level 14 in the DZ more weapons became available for me to buy with a minimum requirement of lvl 10 in the DZ. keep up the grind!

ahh yeah, you are right, it was level 12 in the DZ. i forgot but yeah, that is weird, and kinda stupid if that is the case, hopefully its just a glitch. would kinda suck to only be able to get high end gear when you jump in the DZ after level 10, you would have to go 20 levels before you can get good gear.

I would if I was you too, the first part of the DZ is capped at level 14

yeah, should have went into the DZ earlier, but i hope its just a glitch, about the vendors, other players are having the same "issue"  

the NPCs are really buffed up since the beta too, but thats ok, can take that challenge, but there seems to be some issues about the DZ ranking

All the Vendors in the game. The inventory will change from time to time. I found DZ rank 10 from the vendors in there. so just check them periodically and i'm sure you find something. I'm LVL 24 with 12 DZ Rank. Love the game. I can't put it down

I also saw a vendor on the West side of the DZ in zone 3 that had some stuff for DZ lvl 12.

Get in the DZ asap guys! I have a couple of friends who say they are not checking it out until they hit rank 30! Absolute madness! I've just hit 15 the other day and now I can't play with some of my friends in the DZ (or outside of it for that matter) as now I'm in the 15-19 bracket

It starts out at 1-14 so I'd definitely go in before 15. Plus as stated above, you can still purchase gear at lower levels but the minimum DZ rank is 10 for any purchases. From what I've seen, DZ rank needs to be 10 or 30. Not seen anything at all in between. I've been rank 14/15 for a few days now due to minimal playing time and I've still yet to properly venture into DZ03. I end up riding solo most of the time though and still get my world rocked and gear dropped by groups of AI in DZ01 :'(

Now that I'm in this bracket, I'm going to get to 18 and hit DZ02 and 03 HARD. I really want to spend a good chunk of time in each area before I hit the next bracket and so on and start moving up. I'll have time to enjoy the new visuals in DZ03 (I've only been in once and got slaughtered) while I wait for my friends to catch up a bit in rank. Plus, even though my normal rank wont go up, at least my DZ will and I will be closer to making DZ rank 30 purchases .

Another reason to dive into the DZ before levelling to high is also to see what happens when normal rank 30 is reached! I remember reading something about the whole DZ resetting for lv 30s or something along those lines? (PLEASE DON'T TELL ME WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS! I want to find out for myself ) I've not looked into exactly what happens as I've been steering clear of any tweets, fb posts, videos of anything user-created so there's no spoilers! I want any loot, changes, high-end stuff, enemies etc to all be a fresh surprise.

I'm level 30 DZ rank 47, and there are items you need to be DZ rank 50 for fellas, sorry to burst your bubbles

I don't mind the requirement. I find the DZ to be a lot friendlier compared to the beta. Lots of players working together to destroy the npc's. (yes, you have the occasional bad apples) getting that DZ rank up should not be such a big issue.

I hit lvl 30 dz rank last night and boy did it take me a while atleast 16-20 hours and im only lvl 14 lol

Im level 22 and i go into the dark zone and every time i go to one of the vendors i have to be level 30 in dz to buy anything and im only level 18 in the dz is this a glitch?
