Beware multiple support stations.

Seems to be a bug right (maybe from games first day till now) where if you have overlapping support stations you may get the benefit of the weakest not the strongest.

ie. I drop a Reclaimer station and someone else drops a immuniser station.  My station can counter the effects of a contamination event in Resistance but I am loosing health as the station fields are overlapping and it is linking me to the other persons station.

This is a massive pain in the butt......

i wouldn't say its a bug dude, you only need one station down...preferably the person with the strongest station.  this is just people not understanding how it works.

Yeah - never do two stations unless they are for bounding over watch (separate so you can move up under fire/covering fire).  Two overlapping is a waste.

BUT - I am not sure what you mean by "reclaimer station" as the power order is support station, life support, immunizer, ammo cache.

Wasting the heal from overlapping stations is fair enough. Losing the most effective station effects seems player unfriendly. If you're in a pug you're not going to know who has the most effective and doing a quick survey in your group isn't practical in a multiple language tz or w/ mic less players. Too hard.

Plus does this mean you can't get the benefit from different station mods by overlapping?

Would disagree.

Coordination can get over it if, as you say, the people are aware of the issue but should they have too work around this ?.

Surely if there are multiple stations down then the strongest should take precedence for healing and then it is just a choice on whether to apply all the affects of the stations or only take the affects of one (first / last etc).

As @Oh. daesu mentioned, if you cannot communicate with the other members of your team (random match making where people live in different countries where different languages are used, then it becomes very tricky and there really is no need for it.

There is a thread over on the official forums on it here and Marco made a vid on it as well.

I was running a Resistance Carrier mission and on the Contamination level, 2 other health stations went down on top of my 9k 6 piece Reclaimers box.  None of the other players would destroy their boxes (maybe they did not understand English which is pretty likely as a big group of players over my way are from China, Taiwan, Japan.  I had to find a corner where their boxes did not reach to regain health...

Oh well.
