Best Way to Collect Div Tech

This week's ISAC Weekly is to collect 30 Div Tech to obtain that groovy ISAC Alex Pants.

Yes, clothes are the only things left in this game that I care.

So what's the best way to gather Div Tech? DZ or HVT?

Daily missions (crafting) and Underground missions sometimes cough DivTech up as well. 30 is a lot though!

People over Ubi forums said those Div Tech reward from Daily doesn't add up to the requirement. LOL..

The best thing to do is to go to the checkpoint on the East side of DZ5.  There is a Division Tech location just to the south and another just to the Northwest.  I hit these for the daily DZ assignments that involve collecting tech, and I have rarely seen players or NPCs.  If you farm those two, you basically get two tech per chest per run, for a total of probably 8-10 pieces per trip and the color of the tech doesn't matter for the ISAC assignment.  The thing to watch for is the color of the crafting material location--purple is up, i.e. ready to harvest, and gray is not.

DZ05 is definitely no go for me. But indeed DZ is the best way to gather it. I shall find a random group again tonight to kill some enemies.

Btw, just heads up. Sealed Cache contains gold Div Tech. It's not counted for this ISAC assignment.

LOL. Yeah, you know, I usually hunt for purple and gold caches in DZ by opening those boxes.

Last night I said to myself "wtf, how can I forget about this Caches? Damn sweet DivTech"

That reflects the game a lot. LOL.

They put you in a task that demands a certain amount of requirement to complete, and the reward is lower than what you had in order to complete the task.

Thanks for the tip. I paid attention to 05 and 06 and gathered some.

My route starts from west DZ06. There were some Div Tech boxes with enemies around which I would just avoid. Maybe I'll share the map and route later just in case.

yeah, cache div tech does't count towards it. must admit, it would make it so easy to achieve.

And that means by killing NPC?

Btw yes, if you have a team, killing NPC will get you more and faster. At least my 15 Div Tech came from my DZ PvE run the night before.
